Question

What is the appropriate attire for the welcome party?

Answer

The event is at Roy's Ko'Olina, overlooking the Ko'Olina Golf Course. Resort Cocktail attire is appropriate; this is the time for quintessential Hawaii attire! Men can have fun with Hawiian shirts with a jackets and a sneaker or driver. Women with airy fabrics, bold prints, and shorter hemlines.

Question

What is the appropriate attire for the Wedding?

Answer

The Dress Code is Formal, tie optional. Aim for silhouettes of black tie optional, but make it Hawaii: ties not required and have fun with color! Men: suit, dress shirt, and dress shoes (socks not required). Sneakers and short sleeve shirts are great for the Welcome Party, not for the wedding. For Women: brightly colored gowns and a formal heel, block heel, or flat. Linen and sun dresses are great for the Welcome Party, but not the Wedding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Refreshments will be available in the ceremony area at 4:00 PM. Plan to arrive in time to grab a drink and get settled for a 4:30 PM ceremony start time.

Question

Do I need to rent a car? How should I get around?

Answer

Ubers are available throughout the island, so by no means is renting a car required. You can Uber from the airport to Ko'Olina and, once there, the whole resort is walkable. We do not have group transportation before or after the wedding for this reason, but if you are staying outside Ko'Olina, Ubers are available. If you drive to the Four Seasons, valet is available for $50/night.

Question

Do I have to stay at the Four Seasons?

Answer

Of course not! Though we have a room block at the Four Seasons, outside guests are welcome at the wedding, and can access restaurants throughout the weekend. However, only Four Seasons guests will be able to visit the Pool/Beach where the Bride and Groom will be on Friday.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Though we love your little ones, our hosted events are adults only. Resorts in the area have sitter services available through their respective concierges, if needed. The resorts themselves are not adults only. Kids can go to the main pool at the Four Seasons, but not the Adult Infinity Pool.

Question

Why Hawaii? Why Ko'Olina?

Answer

The Bride's family has been spending Christmases and Spring Breaks in Ko'Olina for decades, and Mitchell has joined that tradition for a number of vacations as well. We can't wait to share this special place with those we love most.
