By what date should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP here on our website (see the RSVP tab) no later than March 30th, 2024 so we have an appropriate headcount for the venue and vendors. Please note that you must RSVP for the wedding ceremony and reception. If you are planning to take a shuttle to or from the venue be sure to RSVP for a seat early as these will be provided on a first-come, first served basis.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 3:45pm to be seated before the ceremony.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no explicit dress code, though we would recommend semi-formal spring attire.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at Peaks of Otter Lodge, though rooms are limited. Please see the "Travel" section of our website for more information. Please note that our wedding weekend is the same date as the local college graduation (Liberty University). We have placed a room block at Peaks of Otter Lodge and rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are other hotels available in the Lynchburg area, but they may be expensive given increased demand due to graduation. If you are looking to stay at another hotel, be sure to book early!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know of any food restrictions you may have when prompted during the RSVP.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at the venue. Please note that you may not leave your vehicle at the venue overnight, so we ask that you please plan accordingly.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is limited transportation via shuttle from/to Peaks of Otter Lodge on an as-needed basis. We do ask that guests RSVP for this service as there is limited seating.
