We're getting married!

We met at the tail end of high school, after a mutual friend insisted on introducing us. Despite some initial apprehension, we clicked from the moment we started talking. After our first date at Maymont and senior prom a few weeks later, we began dating in earnest. Fortunately, we were both committed to attend William & Mary that fall. During our four years there we were almost inseparable, especially at meal time or when Stephanie needed a walk home in the dark after all her extracurricular meetings. However, those four years came to a close and with the onset of COVID and then graduate school, we soon found ourselves 200+ miles apart. Despite the distance and infrequent visits, we managed to grow closer still, going on “dates” and studying “together” on Zoom. More and more, we outlined our future together and inched our way closer to making it a reality. Finally, on February 4, 2023, we got engaged on a weekend rendezvous at our alma mater. With Stephanie’s graduation and residency in mind, we settled on a wedding date that same day and have been counting down the 462 days until then ever since. We’ve been anticipating this day and everything to follow for over eight years and we are so excited to share it with all of you!
