We’re getting married!

Steph and Sandy met playing a videogame called Destiny. Stephanie had filled in for someone who couldn't make a six-person activity, and they hit it off. She really liked his sense of humor and emotional vulnerability, and Alfred thought she was warm and intelligent. What started as group activities turned into late nights talking on the phone, and eventually Sandy planning a trip from Texas to Ohio to meet her person.

Steph had just started her first week at a new job when Sandy came up to visit. They would have lunch in a gazebo in a nearby park throughout the week and continue to get to know each other. Almost three years later, this is where Sandy proposed to Steph. They had gone out, supposedly to run errands and shop for a couple of items, but Steph noticed he was getting more and more quiet throughout the day, and kept checking his phone. On the way back home, Sandy took a detour by the park and told her they should relax there for a bit. Steph, feeling how cold and windy it was in the not-so-warm state of Ohio, didn't quite believe him but went with it anyway. As they were chatting and walking down to the gazebo, Sandy turned around and got on one knee and asked her to marry him.
