Tequila Y Mezcal - The best place to get Mexican food close by in Superior. Be sure to bring your appetite because their portions are LARGE and delicious. Protos Pizza (Broomfield) - A fun neighborhood bar and pizza place. They have a great variety of Italian thin crust pizzas - from the classics to some unique combos. We haven't had a bad on yet! The Burns Pub - a classic and cozy British pub with an extensive whiskey selection. The Waterloo - one of our go-to's when we aren't exactly sure what we want because they have a little bit of everything! They have indoor dining as well as a rooftop area. A bonus to some of our out-of-town guests - you'll be greeted by the Texas flag flying out front. LuLu's BBQ - Right on Main Street in Louisville, this place has some great bar-b-que and of course lots of down-home sides. Wash it down with some of their signature frozen drinks! Sweet Cow - everyone's favorite ice cream place! Don't be alarmed by the long line - it goes quick :)
We love spending time in the small town of Louisville! Pronounced Louis (like the name) ville. The wedding venue is right on Main Street so you will be in Louisville for the wedding itself. But there is lots more to do! - There is a farmers market on Saturday morning with lot's of vendors, food stands and live music. - Moxie Bread Company or Bittersweet Cafe for baked goods and coffee. - For breakfast or lunch there is The Huckleberry or Bobs Diner. Steph's personal favorite is Bob's Diner because they have a menu item called "I can't decide" that has a little bit of everything. - The Louisville Underground is an arcade with a speakeasy style bar. They also host frequent events like live music, comedy nights and game show events. - There is a Karaoke Bar where you can rent out rooms to showcase your skills (or lack thereof).
There are a TON of breweries in the area to explore! Some of our faves include: New Terrain - Golden, CO 4 Noses - Broomfield, CO Wonderland Brewing - Broomfield, CO (they have an arcade, ping pong, and an outdoor mini golf course too) Mother Tucker - Louisville, CO Crystal Springs Brewing Co. - Louisville, CO Wibby Brewing - Longmont, CO Left Hand Brewery - Longmont, CO If you want to explore in style - check out The Brew Hop - a trolley that takes you on a hop-on and hop-off style tour to lots of local breweries, cideries and distilleries in the Longmont area.
Louis the Child is playing on Saturday 9/23! If enough people are interested, we can look Into providing information on booking group transportation from the hotels. Let us know! You can also explore the amphitheater, museum and surrounding trails during the day before the show starts.
