Mount Princeton Hot Springs

Short, yet challenging hike with views of the town and surrounding mountain range.

Midland Hill Trail

Challenging hike to a beautiful mountain lake with glimpses of the mountain range.

Harvard Lakes Trail

Great place to do some trout fishing. A state parks pass is required to enter, but can be purchased at the park gate upon entry.

Spinney Mountain Reservoir

This is the hike we got engaged on! Mount Heron is known as a "14er," meaning it is a very strenuous hike, so please do not attempt unless you are physically fit and acclimated to the elevation.

Huron Peak

Located just less than 1.5 hours from Buena Vista, Breckenridge offers a cute mountain town experience with great restaurants, breweries, and shopping opportunities.
