We're getting into town early! What are we doing Friday night?

Answer

From 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Stefany and Michael will be at Tomboy Tavern in Mountain Village to take in the gorgeous views! This is not an official hosted event, but a casual get together for anyone getting into town early. We would love to see you! At 8:00 they will head to the rehearsal dinner with their immediate families and officiants. DIRECTIONS: From Telluride: Take the free gondola (Telluride Station) up the mountain - once you reach the top (San Sophia Station) the doors will open - DO NOT get off - continue on until you reach the end of the line. Once you exit the station, go down the stairs to the left and Tomboy Tavern is straight ahead. From Mountain Village: Take the gondola from the Market Plaza Station. At the end of the line, exit the station and go down the stairs to your right, and Tomboy Tavern is straight ahead. Not sure what to wear? We’re in the heart of the Colorado mountains, so Western Chic is suggested, but certainly not required!

How do we get to Telluride?

If you are flying, we recommend Montrose Regional Airport, Telluride Regional Airport, or driving from Denver International Airport. Please refer to the Travel tab for more details.

How do we get to the venue?

Answer

There is no parking at the wedding venue. We will have shuttles to take everyone to and from the venue at the Telluride Town Park. Shuttles will run from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM. Please don't arrive at the park after 4:00 PM, as you will not be taken to the venue until after the ceremony is over. Telluride Town Park address: 500 E Colorado Ave, Telluride, CO 81435

What’s the altitude of Telluride?

Answer

8,750 feet above sea level! There will be less oxygen in the air than you may be used to, so take things easy! Remember, one alcoholic beverage at altitude equals 2-3 drinks at sea level.

How do we avoid altitude sickness?

Answer

Hydration is key! Drink plenty of water and listen to your body. It may take you a day or two to acclimate. Oxygen cans are available at most stores if you feel like you need it, but it’s usually not necessary. Signs of altitude sickness: - headaches - loss of appetite - vomiting - feeling weak - dizzy and disoriented - interrupted sleep

Can we bring our kids?

We love your kids, but this is an adults-only event. Our venue is small and has a strict maximum capacity, so unfortunately we cannot extend the invite to your children.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - Think dresses or dressy jumpsuits for women, suits or sport coat and dress pants for men. Ties are not required. Please remember, we are high up in the mountains and it gets much colder at night! We will have heaters, but the entirety of the event does take place outside. Please note: The ceremony and reception will take place in a grassy area so please be mindful of your shoe choice!
