The ceremony will take place at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption at 1804 13th Avenue in Seattle, WA. The reception will take place in the Olympic Ballroom at the Bellevue Club Hotel at 11200 SE 6th St in Bellevue, WA. Both venues are indoors.
Please arrive and be seated by 3:15pm. The ceremony will begin shortly after all guests are seated.
The ceremony will be about 45 minutes to an hour long.
We are not providing any formal transportation to and from the venues. However, there is plenty of free parking at both the church and at the Bellevue Club Hotel. The church parking lot is accessed through the alley behind the church. For those who chose not to drive, there are ample Lyft / Uber drivers in both cities.
We have hired a professional wedding photographer to capture the events of the day. We ask that guests turn off and put away their phones/cameras/devices throughout the ceremony to minimize distractions and instead be present and enjoy the moment with us.
We sure hope you will be able to join us for our special day! Select the RSVP tab of this website or scan the QR code on your invite for a direct link. The deadline to RSVP is September 2nd, 2023 so that we can provide our caterer with a final headcount.
Following the ceremony, the wedding party and immediate family will stay behind to take photos while the rest of the guests may go on ahead to the Bellevue Club Hotel. The cocktail hour will begin at 5pm in the Atrium, located adjacent to the ballroom.
Cocktail hour will include an open bar and passed hors d’oeuvres.
The dinner will be buffet-style with multiple menu options to choose from.
In order for our DJ to create the perfect playlist, we ask that song requests be made in advance. When you RSVP, there will be an option to nominate a song.
Check out How to Dance the Kalamatiano YouTube video for Greek dancing: https://youtu.be/aEleKBNXOBY. There will also be a mix of Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, & Cumbia songs, check out Luck Ransus’ channel on Youtube for easy to follow steps: https://www.youtube.com/@luckransus9781/shorts.
Reception will end at 10pm. We will not be hosting an after party however, downtown Bellevue offers plenty of nightlife options if guests choose to continue on their own.
Cocktail or semi-formal attire works great. Feel free to overdress as long as you can dance in it.
Yes, our wedding will be a family affair and we would love to see your little ones there. However, if you’d rather have an excuse to have a parents-night-out, feel free to leave them with the babysitter!
Please check your RSVP information to see if we were able to accommodate a guest with you.
The reception will take place in a hotel and there are also several hotels within a short distance of the venue. Use code PIROTI0923 by September 9th for a discounted rate at the Bellevue Club Hotel.
First of all, thank you for travelling all this way to celebrate with us! There is a Things To Do tab of the wedding website with a list of our favorite activities, restaurants, and landmarks. We highly recommend checking out the Saint Demetrios Greek Festival at our neighboring Greek Orthodox church in Seattle on Friday, Saturday before the wedding, or Sunday during your visit for the full Greek experience.
Your presence at our wedding is present enough! For those interested, you can find more details on the Registry tab of this website. We would most appreciate a contribution towards our New Home Fund. If you wish to deliver a cash gift in person, please hand them to Stavros.
Send any questions to Stavros’ email at stavrospirotis@gmail.com.
