Stavros was living in Issaquah and Sarah in West Seattle when they met in March of 2021. Sarah made her first ever online dating profile and within 24 hours received a message from Stavros saying that he enjoyed reading her profile and that he thought they had a lot in common. He called her later that week to make plans for a coffee date but after an hour of easy conversation flew by, he asked her to dinner instead! During dinner, the two bonded over their shared interests and values including their faith, family, spending time outdoors, and personal finance. By the end of their second date, Sarah messaged her sister and told her, "I'm done, I don't need to meet anyone else" *heart eyes emoji*.

Stavros and Sarah celebrated their second Valentine's Day together this year with a staycation in downtown Bellevue. When they got back to their hotel room after dinner, Stavros got down on one knee and asked Sarah to spend the rest of their lives together. Needless to say, Sarah said "of course!" through happy tears.
