It was a late August night and we were each out with friends at the local bar, Corby's Irish Pub. Julia made the first move in a way by taking a seat next to Adam. Conversation was flowing (similar to the drinks) and before Julia left, Adam asked for her number. Julia said "Why, you live in Chicago?" to which Adam replied "I'll be back next weekend!" Julia gave in and they scheduled their first date. Not sure if it was the lighting, drinking, or a little bit of both, but by our first date we had forgotten what each other looked like. No matter though, as we shared drinks and lots of conversation at The Exchange bar in downtown South Bend. From that date, we continued to talk every day and travel back and forth each weekend between Chicago and South Bend. Since our Corby's night out, we have enjoyed over three years together and now share a home with our loving dog, Charlotte. We are excited to tie the knot and celebrate with our loved ones, and we hope you can all make it!
