The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. We suggest arriving at 3:30pm so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in.
We love your kids. But we want our wedding to be your night off! We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event, with the exception of our immediate family (i.e.: our nieces and nephews). If you absolutely can't find any other accommodation for your kids, please email us and we can see if we can make any exceptions.
Yes! Bridal Veil Lakes has their own lot, and there’s lots parking.
Semi-formal. Be a little more spiffy than usual if you wish, but please, dress comfortably :) Keep in mind the venue is all outdoors in the woods near a beautiful small lake.
If your invitation envelope states your name followed by "plus one," then yes, you may bring someone as your guest. If it does not, we kindly ask that it just be you in attendance.
Your presence at our wedding is gift enough. Seriously. But because you asked we are -- at least, we will be soon!
The farewell will take place at 10:30pm.
Yes, there will be special cocktail and a selection of wine. (And there will be a lot of kombucha, which is way better than alcohol anyway).

It is expected to rain all day Thursday and Friday morning. So expect your feet to get a little wet, as our ceremony and cocktail area are on grass. The weather will be in the mid-70s during the afternoon and lower to the mid-60s towards the evening. So make sure to bring a sweater! If you want to be extra safe you can store an umbrella in your car! Please be prepared for anything, it is an outdoor wedding but in case of rain, there will be a covered area for the reception. We will have some umbrellas at the venue in case it does rain. Please check the weather app to plan for additional attire.
The ceremony and reception is planned to be held outdoors.
There is a grass field for parking, and a short distance on grass/gravel to a paved walkway. There will be a paved walkway to your seats, but seats will be in the grass. There will be members of the wedding party to help anyone who needs extra assistance. The venue also provides an area for a closer drop off to the ceremony space. Please let the couple know ahead of time or a member of the wedding party on the day of if you will need these accommodations.
The venue does not allow smoking including the use of e-cigarettes or vape pens. The venue and couple thank you for understanding.
We were unable to block any hotels near the venue, but you can go to the travel page to see the nearest hotels we suggest. Portland is the nearest city to the venue, a little over a half hour drive to the venue. Portland has more options for hotels and airbnbs.

The venue is off a side dirt road, and a little remote. The owner of the venue has stated people have had trouble in the past ordering Ubers to pick up from the venue because the location is a little difficult to get to. We would suggest carpooling to the venue with friends and having a designated driver that won't be drinking at the wedding. We will provide more detailed directions to the wedding location closer to the date.
