Indian clothing preferred, but for those who do not have; light colors preferred, jeans are fine, dark/black is discouraged as this is a temple prayer. Ladies, please cover your head in the temple.
A light vegetarian lunch will be provided outdoors after the Janya ceremony.

Indian attire or sunday best. Colorful attire is encouraged and short sleeves may be preferable for those getting henna.
Ladies and children only please. Small plates will be provided. Mehndi, otherwise known as henna, is a paste associated with positive spirits and good luck. Indian Wedding tradition calls for a Mehndi ceremony to be held the night before the wedding as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage.
