Charles and Somai’s love story started in the summer of 2020 when they met online and hit it off. After countless phone conversations, they finally decided it was time to meet in person. Not even the ongoing pandemic could stop this budding connection! Their first date was at a Thai Restaurant in DC, where they talked for hours until the restaurant’s closing hours. Even then, they were not ready to say goodbye to each other. Instead, they took a nice long walk around the city, chatting about any- and everything. It was pretty clear that night—they had found something special! Fast forward to today, their love for each other has grown deeper and stronger. And yes, they still love a good date night with Thai food and long walks!
