One of the most famous and historic areas in New Orleans. When you're in the quarter be sure to stroll down Royal Street and stop by the French Market. If you're in the mood for a Muffuletta, famous stop by Central Grocery on Decatur. In the mood for a frozen Irish coffee? Stop by Erin Rose or Molly's at the Market
Get your beignet fix here when roaming the Quarter!
This is where we had our first date and where Jake proposed! They have a beautiful art museum, NOMA, and a free sculpture garden you can roam. If you have the kids with you, there's a children's museum and Storyland! Grab some beignets and a coffee at the Cafe Du Monde before you stroll the rest of the vast park.
Magazine is 6 miles of fun shops, great restaurants, and art! It's a great way to spend the day strolling down and seeing what New Orleans local stores offer
Katherine's Favorite: Half n Half shrimp and oyster po-boy (and fried pickles on the side) Jake's Favorite: Shrimp po-boy (dressed). While you're here we recommend strolling the bayou! We live in this area and we absolutely love it.
