Aubrey Glidden

Bride

Maggie Hubbard

Maid of Honor

Cam met Maggie (Mags) in the summer of 2011 while working retail at JCPenney. Maggie was one of the floor managers and Cam spent several weeks that summer trying to figure out how to ask Maggie to hang out, given she was technically a subordinate. After over-thinking such dilemma, Maggie ended up asking Cam to go to the beach that summer which ultimately became the precipitant to Cam returning to college in the fall with a best friend! Cam and Maggie kept in touch during Cam's senior year while she was living at college in New Hampshire where their friendship seemed to only grow. After graduation Maggie rehired Cam in the interim while she transitioned home from college. Life after undergrad can feel very peculiar. You are technically an adult but many move back in with their parents and it becomes very easy to revert back to traditional child-parent roles. At that point in time for Cam, feeling lost was an understatement. Maggie made the time during what was a very difficult transition for Cam, feel so much less alone. From Beach days at Rexhame to dinner dates at the Ninety Nine and Sangria all summer long, Cam and Maggie developed an unwavering friendship. Maggie is one of the kindest, most generous humans Cam has ever had in her life. When the time came for Cam to choose her Maid of Honor, it was abundantly clear that Maggie was her person.

Jillian Nashawaty

Maid of Honor

Aubrey first met Jill while working as a Counselor in Training at the YWCA camp in Marshfield. Aubrey was so intimidated by her vivacious personality that she spent years building up the courage to befriend her. Typical. Even more typical is the fact that Jill chose Aubrey as a friend and made every first move in building their friendship. After years of working together and eventually many counselor sleepovers and fun activities, Jill became the most influential part of Aubrey's camp family. Aubrey and Jill share the same competitive streak to the point that they were banned from being on the same team for the annual greased watermelon game at camp. It turned into the most fun rivalry which Aubrey lost every time. Clearly still not over that. Jill is the only person who truly can make Aubrey do almost anything (key word almost). Jill helped Aubrey see that living on the edge of life isn't so scary and always knows how to make any situation fun. Jill has helped Aubrey come out of her shell and feel comfortable being herself in every situation. It has now been over a decade of friendship that has only grown over the years. Jill is the person Aubrey can call at any hour and know Jill will answer and do whatever Aubrey needs no questions asked. When it came time to choose her maid of honor, Aubrey did not hesitate because she knew the person who knew her best and had always been by her side was Jill.

Michelle LeBlanc-Hughes

Bridesmaid

Cam met Michelle in January of 2014 at their prior employer on a weekend morning shift at 7:30am. A relevant detail, as Cam mistakenly thought Michelle was a resident after walking into the group room, introducing herself and asking Michelle when she had been admitted. While Cam does not remember this, Michelle has never let her forget such a moment! One of Cam's fondest memories was a random night when they sat in Michelle's car in the parking lot of Ulta and just talked for hours. Cam and Michelle quickly realized they shared a mutual feeling that they could talk to each other about anything. Their friendship always seemed to grow over the years though most recently Michelle has become one of Cam's very best friends. Michelle and Cam's friendship strengthened at a time that was seemingly meant to be, brining an element of ease and comfort into Cam's life just when she needed it the most. Michelle's non-judgemental nature and unwavering support has brought so much happiness into Cam's life. Cam is forever grateful for mistaking Michelle as the grumpy teenager that she did, on a weekend morning shift in January of 2014 and could not picture her wedding day without Michelle by her side.

Thomas Nashawaty

Bridesman

Aubrey first met Thomas (T) at the YWCA camp in Marshfield when she was a Junior Counselor and he was a Counselor in Training. After he became a counselor, T became an integral part of the camp family. Through those years working together at camp, Aubrey has seen T grow from the sometimes hot headed and loud teen to the still loud, but loving husband and amazing friend he is today. He is a goofy teddy bear who gives the best hugs and always says he loves you. T is also the only member of the wedding party who is still probably a bit afraid of being beaten up by the bride because he knows it could happen at any time. T and Aubrey have the best brother/sister type relationship. They have no problem calling the other out on their stupidity but will also kill anyone who hurts the other. Aubrey has found great joy in being the friend that T can go to when he needs help to talk through a problem or just needs a hug. Aubrey can always count on T as a shoulder to cry on and a person to vent to when things are hard. There was no question that Thomas was going to be standing with Aubrey on her wedding day.

Julianne McKenna

Bridesmaid

In December of 1999 Cam and her family moved from Dedham to Hanover. Their realtor informed Cam's parents that the house across the street also had a little girl named Julianne who was close in age. Over the years Julianne was one of Cam's closest friends, during which she exposed Cam to many extra-curriculars that she may not have otherwise discovered until college haha. Before cell phones replaced most land lines, Cam and Julianne would talk on the home phone for hours. Since Julianne graduated from high school a year earlier, starting with Cam's senior year, Cam would visit Julianne while she was away at college. The following year Julianne started coming up to visit Cam in New Hampshire which became an annual tradition. This was something Cam really looked forward to as they always seemed to result in the most memorable of moments. After college both Cam and Julianne stayed on the south shore, sharing a mutual love for the beach and having sushi dates on their birthdays. Fast forward more than 20 years later while socializing looks a little different now, in the best way they could imagine with little miss Olivia, Cam could not picture her wedding day without Julianne by her side.

Amanda Recio

Bridesmaid

Aubrey first met Amanda at work at Vinal Elementary School. Aubrey was supposed to be the aide in Amanda's second grade class before she had to leave to complete her Masters practicum. Aubrey left after a short meeting with Amanda about her student feeling so sad she never had the opportunity to know her (not knowing Amanda felt the same way). Fast forward two years and Aubrey is hired to work as a 1st/2nd grade teacher in March 2021. Aubrey had the opportunity to not only work on the same team as Amanda, but to work just across the hall. Within days of working together, Aubrey and Amanda became fast friends. Aubrey would randomly walk into Amanda's room during every free period and they learned how similar they were in almost every aspect of life. Aubrey found Amanda to be the kindest, most genuine friend who truly has the best interest of everyone at heart. Aubrey found her work best friend who almost instantly became a forever friend. Aubrey can go to Amanda when she is feeling frustrated with the world (or just some colleagues) and Amanda can calm her down in moments. While they no longer work in the same grade, Aubrey still finds herself wandering down to Amanda's room and Amanda always reaches out a hand when they pass in the hallway. It is hard not to feel like Aubrey and Amanda were meant to be friends and Aubrey couldn't do her day without her.

Maryna Demetri

Bridesmaid

Cam met Maryna in 2008 at the end of her Freshman year of college after a campus performance where Maryna was in pigtails and had drawn on freckles haha. Cam didn't know it then but the following year Maryna would quickly become Cam's #1 confidant, chosen family and bff! Cam and Maryna became inseparable for the three years to follow, living together from their sophomore year to their senior year. This eventually led to what they later coined as the "dream team" They shared a similar sense of humor, a love for helping others and music that they could bump too. While living together, instead of a "Do Not Disturb" door handle tag, Maryna made a "Heart-to-Heart in Session" door handle tag for nights where Maryna and Cam would hang out in one of their rooms and just chat for hours. In true bff fashion Cam and Maryna committed to the "strength in numbers" rule of thumb, never leaving each other in a precarious situation. Ritualizing 4 "baby shots" when pregaming together every Friday and Saturday, from campus parties to bar hopping on Elm Street, through thick and thin. Maryna's patience and kind nature helped Cam through some of her largest challenges while away at school and could not picture her wedding day without Maryna by her side.

Gillian Keenan

Bridesmaid

Aubrey first met Gill when she visited Camille and Jill at their apartment in Brighton. Gill was their roommate and instantly Aubrey knew she had found another amazing friend. Well as instantly as Aubrey could actually let herself get. Over years of parties and get togethers, Aubrey learned that Gill is sarcastic, quick witted and so similar to Aubrey that it scares them sometimes. The last few years have really grown Gill and Aubrey's friendship. Gill was added to Camille, Jill and Aubrey's monthly (most of the time) Friendaversary and Aubrey was able to get to know Gill outside of a party setting. Now when they get together with friends they often say the same thing or make eye contact across the room when they already know what the other is thinking or when they are both too anxious to go through with one of the many crazy ideas. Gill is a safe space for Aubrey in large (and small) social gatherings and she is also the one who truly understands how Aubrey feels in almost every situation. Every time they are together, Gill and Aubrey end up saying, "Wow. We really are the same person" at one point or another. Gill is supportive and kind and honestly the funniest friend Aubrey has (maybe a bit biased since they basically have the same sense of humor). Aubrey couldn't do her wedding day without Gill by her side.

Janine Franceschini

Bridesmaid

Cam and Janine became friends back in high school, growing their friendship through late night drives to Green Harbor, ice cream and movie nights. In the Fall of 2008 Cam went away to college in New Hampshire, Janine in New York. Since both Cam and Janine were night owls they often found themselves having their best conversations over the phone late at night. In the summer of 2012, Maggie also hired Janine in the interim after she moved back home from college, before she continued her education. Janine and Cam share a genuine interest in learning about people and throughout the years Cam and Janine spent time at each other's family parties as well as Cam's family cottage. Cam would always find Janine deep in conversation with her maternal and paternal grandmothers and because of Janine’s kind and gentle energy, Cam knew their time was well spent. Janine being a true foodie, she and Cam enjoy going on walks and indulging in local cuisine together. Janine is exactly who you want when deciding on something fun to do. She is creative and adventurous, guaranteeing you'll have a great time. While the pandemic prevented Cam from being able to fulfill her bridesmaid role for Janine, Cam is beyond grateful to have Janine by her side, as she could not picture her wedding day without her.

Camille Dolloff

Bridesmaid

Aubrey first met Camille while working as a Counselor in Training at the YWCA camp in Marshfield. Camille was funny and genuinely so kind. It took a few years before Aubrey was fully a part of the camp family that Jill and Camille had started, but once Aubrey made it in she started to experience the incredible joy of being a part of a chosen family. Through many summers of adventures and sleepovers, Aubrey grew to know Camille as the grounded, take no prisoners person who also loves to dance and be silly that makes her such an amazing friend. Aubrey and Camille have bonded over their inability to resist Jill's peer pressure and the faces they make when Jill suggests one of her outrageous ideas. Camille has been the calming force who remains steady during life's uncertainty but will also be the first one in line to confront anyone who does her friends wrong. Camille is also the friend who will sing at the top of her lungs at any concert they go to and then send the video of it for good measure. Through monthly Friendaversary dates with Jill and Gill, their friendship grew well beyond the foundation started all those years ago at camp.Camille may be the shortest of the friend group (and Aubrey the tallest), but don't let that fool you. Camille and Aubrey are kindred spirits despite their physical differences. Aubrey couldn't picture her day without Camille.

Briana Chinetti

Bridesmaid

In March of 1992, Cam met one of her first best friends, as sisters often are. Cam quickly learned what it meant to love somebody with an intellectual disability. Growing up Cam and Briana would play make believe in their childhood bedrooms for hours. One time Cam recruited Briana as her "back up dancer" and choreographed a dance to the Backstreet Boys' Larger Than Life which they played out over and over again for hours in their playroom. Briana never skipped a beat nor lost any interest, despite the evidently redundant nature of this entire charade. As years went on Briana started talking a lot about how she wanted to be just like Cam and that Cam was her role model. But the truth is that Cam needs Briana far more than the contrary. Briana is one of the funniest people Cam knows. Briana is caring, conscientious and somehow always knows how to put a smile on Cam's face even after a stressful day. While there is no manual on how to be the best big sister and life certainly did not come with instructions for their family dynamic, Briana has largely shaped the woman that Cam is today and she could not picture her wedding day without Briana by her side.

Julianne Chinetti

Bridesmaid

Aubrey first met Julianne when Aubrey stayed with Cam for a few days at her parents home while they were in Aruba. Aubrey knew that she was going to love Julianne right away because of her sarcastic humor and funny side comments. Julianne was also very cute about the fact that Aubrey and Cammie were gay. Over the years Julianne became very protective of Aubrey and Cam. Aubrey’s favorite memory is when Julianne saw Aubrey hugging her friend T and she walked right up and said, “You know she has a girlfriend right?” and he responded "Of course I do! I have a wife!" Julianne shrugged and walked away. No funny business when Julianne is around! Aubrey and Julianne bonded over their love of High School Musical, Disney movies and the color blue. Aubrey gives Julianne a good laugh when she sings and dances in the car. Julianne has a smile that can light up a room and loves a good inside joke! Julianne is kind, compassionate and can make anyone she chooses feel like the most important person in the room. When deciding who would get which twin on their side for the wedding, Aubrey quickly asked for Julianne because Aubrey couldn't have a blue side without her blue buddy!
