Emily Searle
Matron of Honor
Emily is the sister and right hand (wo)man of the bride. Kayla has been blessed with her little sister's presence since she was born and although they didn't always get along as kiddos they are the first person the other calls when something exciting, wonderful or sad happens! Emily is also married to one of the groomsmen (Trevor) and the momma-bear of one of our ring bearers (Jeremie).
Donato Bisogno
Best Man
Donato is James' best friend and the pair have been in eachother's lives since Grade 10. This pair can't help but be creative together, from podcasts to D&D stories and eveything in between these guys have done it. Donato and James are basically the same person and conveniently they have both found partners that are basically the same person as well. James is very thankful to have his best friend stand beside him on the Wedding Day.
Brittany Slade
Bridesmaid
Brittany is Kayla's cousin and has been a huge part of Kayla's life from the beginning. Brittany and Kayla share a love of horses, travelling hot places and discovering the underwater world through scuba diving! Kayla is so grateful to have Brittany in her life and couldn't imagine her wedding day without Brittany walking down the aisle with her!
Damian Sarantos
Groomsman
Damien and James go way back... like almost 20 years back! James met Damien at their elementary school in Grade 2 and they have been friends ever since. Damien has many names he responds to so don't be confused if you hear him answering to Damien, Damo or Gord... it's all the same guy. James is very happy to have one of his oldest friends supporting him on the big day.
Stephanie Kartakis
Bridesmaid
Stephanie is one of Kayla's cousins and has been an important part of her life forever! The girls used to spend basically every weekend of their childhood having sleep overs, playing and choreographing dance recitals. The best part of this relationship is that the girls are still closer than ever and Kayla couldn't imagine saying "I do" without Stephanie by her side!
Vito Rea
Groomsman
Vito and James have been friends since Grade 10 when they met at their high school. The pair have shared many camping trips and adventures together including a trip to Jamaica for Vito's Bachelor Party and James standing as a groomsman for Vito's wedding in 2017. James is very happy to have Vito standing up with him on the big day!
Katie Moreau
Bridesmaid
Katie is James' middle sister and Kayla couldn't be happier to have her stand with her on their wedding day. Kayla met Katie on a fateful day in October when she went over to the Moreau household for one of the first times and was greeted by Katie dressed in a corgi onsie (that she had made for halloween) at the front door. Kayla is so glad to be gaining Katie as a sister!
Connor Illsley
Groomsman
James and Connor became friends in Grade 8 when they bonded over their class trip to Ottawa. Connor has possibly the coolest job ever and is always traveling the globe for work but when he's home, he is always good for a laugh and great time. James is extremely grateful to have Connor as one of his groomsmen.
Sarah Moreau
Bridesmaid
Sarah is James' youngest sister and Kayla is thrilled to have her be part of her special day. Kayla met Sarah when James and Sarah took Kayla to eat sushi for the first time when she was home from university for Christmas break. Kayla is very excited for Sarah to officially be her sister.
Trevor Searle
Groomsman
Trevor is Kayla's brother-in-law and met James at one of the many family gatherings Kayla's family has. James had the pleasure of being one of Trevor's groomsmen and ensured that he had a bachelor party that was unforgettable, even though we aren't sure if they do actually remember it... Trevor is also married to the Matron of Honour (Emily) and the poppa-bear of one of our ring bearers (Jeremie).
Jeremie Searle
Ring Bearer
Jer is Kayla and James' nephew and the son of their Matron of Honour and one of their groomsmen. Jer is a little young so may or may not be trusted with the rings and therefore has been officially dubbed "ring security".
Tristan Gamble
Ring Bearer
Tristan is Kayla's cousin and we are so excited to have him be our ring bearer! Tristan is also the flower girl, Abby's, big brother.

Flower Girl
Abby is Kayla's cousin and we are so excited to have her be our flower girl! Abby is also the ring bearer, Tristan's, little sister.
Eleanor Gilpin
Junior Bridesmaid
Ellie and Kayla met one fateful day when she was placed on one of the cheer teams Kayla coached. Kayla had the pleasure of coaching Ellie for many years and in that time developed a relationship that goes way beyond the coach/athlete relationship and Kayla sees Ellie as her little sister now.
Andrew McCaw
Emcee
Andrew is Kayla's best friend and has known her since elementary school. Over the years there have been many ups and downs but highlights include Kayla limiting him to one hug a day in high school because he was annoying, Andrew dating Kayla's younger sister temporarily and Kayla standing as his Best WOman at his wedding in October 2018. Andrew's family is basically a second family to Kayla and they welcomed James with open arms... mostly because he was willing to put the lights up on the Christmas tree! ***Disclaimer - Kayla and James cannot be held responsible for anything Andrew says at the wedding...
