Ryan and I first met during Freshman year of college, Fall 2015, at the University of North Florida through some mutual friends. We found out that we had Calculus 1 and Chemistry 1 together. Although we didn't have any classes together during the Spring 2016 or Fall 2016, we had remained good friends. In Fall 2017, we had Calculus 3 together and had re-kindled our friendship, sending each other memes and texts during class. At the end of the semester, I had convinced Ryan to help me move a mini fridge out of my apartment, and he conveniently left his skateboard in my car. We met up later that night so he could retrieve his skateboard, we ended up playing Settler's of Catan (which we no longer play because Ryan cheated that night), and the rest is history.

We started officially dating April 22, 2017. We had a great summer together in Jacksonville, FL. Ryan was going to school and I was interning at J&J Vision. Then began our long distance dating. Ryan had moved to University of Florida during the Fall 2017 semester to switch his degree from electrical engineering to nuclear engineering while Katie stayed at University of North Florida. After a year, our long distance grew as I had taken a job at J&J Consumer after graduating from UNF Dec. 2018. I had moved to the NJ area Feb. 2019. Ryan graduated Spring 2020 and had joined the Navy, he moved to Newport RI to attend officer training and then was stationed in Charleston, SC after graduating OCS in Feb. 2021. After our wedding and honeymoon, Ryan and I will be moving to Oahu to begin our lives together after over 5 years of long distance. We couldn't be more excited!!
