Park Place Hotel and Conference Center

We have a room block here for our guests and this is where our shuttle will be coming to pick our guests up. The hotel is located 20 minutes from the wedding venue. There is also a complimentary shuttle to and from Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport. We recommend checking in with the hotel and booking through our hotel block 1.5-2 months prior to the wedding. Our wedding block is first come first serve so be sure to book as soon as it is available. When you call, please ask to book under the Shoemaker-Sopotnick room block. We have two shuttle trips set to pick up guests at 1:30pm and then again at 2:30 pm. Guests will be dropped off at the vineyard on site for the Ceremony. We will only have two shuttles prior to the start of the wedding so if you miss both of these shuttles you will have to arrange to be dropped off via Uber or lyft. There is no parking on site so please plan to use the shuttle we have provided or plan to be dropped off at the venue site. Blue Lakes by The Bay is the shuttle company we will be using. Shuttle

Shuttle from the Park Place Hotel to and from the venue at Black Star Farms

October 6, 2024 1:15 pm - 10:15 pm

Blue Lakes By the Bay Transportation will be shuttling our guests from the Park Place Hotel to the venue and back the day of our Wedding. The shuttle will only be making two trips, one starting at 1:20pm and the other at 2:20pm to shuttle guests to the Vineyard on the property where the ceremony is taking place. Please make sure to use the shuttle we have provided, if you miss one of the two trips you will have to arrange to be dropped off at the venue due to minimal parking on site. We would like our guests to take advantage of the shuttle we have provided so everyone doesn’t have to arrange a ride and to keep everyone safe! The shuttle will be making trips back to the Park Place hotel at 8pm, 9:15pm, and the last shuttle leaving at 10:15pm. If you are not staying at the Park Place Hotel and want to take advantage of the shuttle, please park across the street in the parking garage. Hotel guests are only allowed to park at Park Place. We want our guests to enjoy and get back safely so please use the shuttle provided to return to the Park Place Hotel! Ride share like Uber and Lyft may be minimal outside of traverse city limits.

Bayshore Resort

Bayshore Resort is 22 minutes from our wedding venue and is nestled along the beautiful West Grand Traverse Bay. There is a complimentary shuttle during business hours to and from the Cherry Capital airport in Traverse City. Our hotel block is first come, first serve and we have 10 rooms booked at this hotel. Once all rooms are booked, it is up to our guests to find their own hotel accommodations. When you call, Please ask to book under the Shoemaker-Sopotnick Room block. The room block is open and available to book! More info on our hotel block below! Reservations: Call on Own Payment: Pay on Own Group Master: Shoemaker/Sopotnick Wedding All rates are plus tax (11%) and are based on single or double occupancy. If the group is tax exempt, a tax exemption form must be submitted prior to check-in. Additional guests in a room incur a surcharge of $10 per person per night. Children 17 & under sleep free of charge in their parent’s room. Anyone under the age of 18 must have an adult in the room unless agreed upon prior to check- in. There is a two night minimum stay with weekend reservations. Bayshore Resort is completely non-smoking. We assess a $200 fee if a guest smokes in the hotel, on the balcony, or on the beach. Silver Birch Resort Domes

Skyler and I stayed in one of Rob's whimsical dome homes in Williamsburg, Mi the night of our engagement! We loved our stay so much and wanted to recommend it to all of our guests! The domes are dog friendly and are located 40 mins southeast of the wedding venue and are located 25 minutes from downtown Traverse City.
