We're getting married!

On their first date, Skyler took Jessica to one of her favorite restaurants in New Smyrna Beach called The Garlic. They sat at a sweetheart table enjoying heavy pours of cabernet and amazing conversation. Skyler admitted to feeling shy and nervous and told Jessica how he had never met a woman like her. The next day they went on their second date brunching around their favorite little beach town and after that the rest was history! Jessica and Skyler were inseparable from that point forward even while Skyler worked nights at the hospital as an ICU nurse and during Jessica's difficult quarters in Chiropractic school. They continued to enjoy spending time together traveling, trying out new restaurants, making new memories, and spending time as a family with their sweet pup Kona. Jessica always knew there was something different about Skyler and told her sisters and closest friends that she knew he was "the one". As their love blossomed, they both realized very quickly that they did not want to go through life without one another. On July 1st, 2023 Skyler proposed to Jessica in Traverse City Michigan with family and friends in tow to witness such a special moment.
