Question

is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no specific dress code, we do expect people to dress accordingly- think between business casual and semi-formal. Please wear something that makes you feel good, while also not looking like a scrub. We look forward to seeing you!

Question

Is there a shuttle service from the hotel?

Answer

We will be using a bus service (Dee Bus), which will be a first-come-first-serve basis. There will be a VERY fancy yellow school bus located outside of the SpringHill Suites in Devens around 1:00p, which will plan to leave around 1:15p. It will then pick up from the wedding venue (The 228) around 6:45p and drop back off at the hotel.

Question

what can i expect at this wedding?

Answer

The wedding may be a bit more non-traditional than some of the other weddings that you're used to. (Honestly, come in with no expectations and we won't disappoint!)

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No- it's open bar, you can hold out ~30 minutes. The venue is also very strict in regards to their alcohol policy.

Question

will there be an after party?

Answer

For those who want to stay near lodging and wind down - The Hilton Garden Inn right next to the Springhill Suites has a bar called Great American Grill that's open until midnight. Otherwise, The Phoenix Bar and Grill is happy to have us afterwards. They have a large space with a dance floor, a DJ for the night, and are open a little later, until 1AM. Kitchen closes at 9PM. However, guests will want to arrange their transportation to and from the location the bar. It is at 4 Ayer Rd, Shirley, MA 01464 - just 6 minutes away from the hotels area.

Question

How do I know if I have a plus one?

Answer

Regretfully, we are unable to accommodate every guest with an "plus one" option. The bride and groom have privately notified each party of eligibility.

Question

I/We have children, are they allowed to come?

Answer

Due to the restricted guest count by the venue, we are unable to accommodate any children.

Question

Can I commute to the venue without a car?

Answer

Getting to the venue without a car is a little difficult. However, it is not impossible! The best method to get there is by commuter rail and then ubering/taxiing to the hotel/venue. There are two viable stops on two respective commuter lines - North Leominster on the Fitchburg line and Worcester on the Worcester line. Both of these lines operate out of North Station. The closest point is by going to the North Leominster stop, which is part of the Fitchburg line. Please see attached link for the schedule: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Fitchburg/timetable Alternatively, the other commuter rail is the Worcester line. You would travel to the last stop on the line (Worcester). Please see attached link for the schedule: https://www.mbta.com/schedules/CR-Worcester/timetable

Question

I have specific dietary restrictions, will catering be an issue?

Answer

We are aware of specific individuals that have these needs, and have taken care of vegetarian and gluten options (luckily, we don't know any vegans). If you have any other dietary concerns, please reach out to either Shira or Hardy.

Question

is there a code for the hotel block?

Answer

There is a code for the hotel block! Please use code FCWFCWA for a king bed or code FCWFCWB for a double queen. You can also reserve the room the old school way (by calling them). Be sure to mention the reservation is for the Chen/Fetonte wedding!
