We met on the Hinge app! Our first date was at Werner Park in Merriam, KS at the annual Flags 4 Freedom display. We walked to an art gallery at the community center and then after discovering Woodyard Bar-B-Que was closed, enjoyed dinner at El Pulgarcito Salvadorean Restaurant.

Andrew surprised Katherine with a 4th of July engagement! He unsuspectingly got her to the Plaza by offering a tour of the new Shepard Wealth Advisors office. They took a walk after their tour and Andrew proposed at the J.C. Nichols Memorial Fountain. He had their families excitedly waiting at Capital Grille afterward for their arrival. They finished the evening watching fireworks over Liberty Memorial.
