The Flying Horses Carousel is the oldest carousel in the United States. Built in 1876 in Coney Island and later moved to Oak Bluffs. Each horse is carved out of wood with glass eyes and the manes and tails are made with real horse hair.
named for its appearance in the movie Jaws, filmed on Martha’s Vineyard. the bridge is located on Beach Rd connecting Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. both kids and adults make their summer splash by jumping off of Jaws Bridge. the bridge is located on State Beach. the beach is open to the public - beach pass not required!
