Best Man
Neil is Noah's older brother as well as lifelong friend and confidant. He is selfless, loving, and SO much fun to be around. He takes care of the people he loves and does it all with a smile on his face. Neil has been there for Noah during all of the most important moments of his life and he wouldn't have anybody else standing next to him for this one. On any given day you can find him being the best dad to his step daughters, Mira, Bianca, and Mada, bragging on his beautiful wife, Emily, rooting for the Cubs, and challenging professionals to a dance battle (sometimes even winning). Neil has always looked out for Noah, and Noah loves to talk about how spoiled he felt growing up with him as a big brother. Neil taught Noah how to ski in elementary school, how to show golf etiquette in middle school, and how to drive in high school. He has planned many trips for Noah and his siblings, including a surprise trip for Noah on his 18th birthday to Wrigley Field, where they witnessed the Cubs clinch a playoff spot (pictured above). Shelby and Neil are both the oldest of four and started bonding the second they met. Shelby feels lucky to be gaining a big brother and a forever huckleberry.
Lainee Sargent
Matron of Honor
Lainee is the best friend any girl could ask for, and Shelby is so grateful to have her standing by her side on the altar. She introduced (possibly most definitely schemed) Shelby and Noah so if there is one person to thank for this wedding, it's her! Shelby and Lainee met at a dance workshop in NYC and quickly became close friends. For a long time Shelby didn't know a New York City without Lainee in it, however distance hasn't been an issue for their friendship and they are closer than ever. Some of Shelby's favorite memories include watching Lainee perform on stage, munching bagels on the Upper West Side, enjoying she and Ben on both arms as the hottest opening night dates, boating in Miami, cornering her at a bar to make sure she knows how much she's loved, and most importantly standing next to her as she married the love of her life. Lainee is the most loyal and caring friend. She is smart, quick witted, and has the best sense of humor. She lights up any room she walks into, and if you're lucky enough to spend time with her, she will always leave you laughing. A musician, model, performer extraordinaire, she currently resides in Miami, FL with her husband, Ben. She and Ben are incredibly important to both Shelby and Noah and we are so grateful for their friendship.
Mary Antonini
Officiant
Mary and Shelby have been friends since 2015. They both were cast in a developmental lab for a show that years later they would end up performing on Broadway together. For nine months they shared a Broadway dressing room and became incredibly close (both physically in space and emotionally as friends) and have been bonded ever since. Mary is kind and patient. She has a beautiful spirit, and an equally beautiful view of the world and of people. She has an amazing way with words and makes you feel as if you're the only person on the planet when she speaks to you. Not only is she an amazing person, but an incredible artist. Everyone who has had the chance to watch her work would agree. She has been so supportive of our love and took Noah in with open arms, and so Mary quickly became one of Noah's favorite people as well. We feel very lucky to have a woman like her in our lives and even luckier that she will be marrying us (you will feel lucky too).
