Gina is Shelby's friend from Cleveland, OH. They quickly became friends during the pandemic because they worked in the cardiac OR together and learned how to suture together. Gina is very good at knowing where Shelby is at all times whether in a hospital for emergency cases or running between bars.

Andre’s co-resident in New York, surfing enthusiast, and açaí-bowl aficionado. Ken and Andre both adopted two sibling corgis in NYC during the COVID pandemic: Drizzy and Tato.

Lena was Shelby's college roommate. If it weren't for Lena, Shelby would have never learned how to put on makeup or wake up early for nursing clinicals. As a soon to be a Yale CRNA graduate, Lena is currently looking for a new job so here is my personnel recommendation to hire her!

Ashley is one of Shelby's oldest friends from kindergarten. Shelby and Ashley used to get mixed up in lower school, so much so the principle would call on the wrong child to come and read to her during recess. Shelby thought this was some sort of punishment because she had to miss recess, while Ashley thought the same thing because she wasn't allowed to read to the principle!

Jebin is Andre’s brother-in-law. They’ve shared lots of memories and trips over the last years including Cabo and Costa Rica. Jebin is surprisingly good at finding misplaced items. He is much better at this than Andre is..

Thuy is Andre's friend that is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. While visiting the couple in Texas to support Shelby's brother in his ironman, the couple fell ill and she was up and ready to drive Will 2hrs to his race just so he wouldn't miss it!

Francis was Andre’s co-resident in NYC and also newly minted spine surgeon. While he he may look like a collegiate linebacker, Francis is actually a skilled jazz saxophonist and an extreme neat-freak when it comes to social etiquete.
Lindsey Navarro

Lindsey is the first friend of Andre’s who Shelby got to meet. The duo quickly became best friends over their mutual love of craft beers and Starbucks. Lindsey is also Dizzy's godparent and has had to remove multiple chicken bones from his mouth.

Kevin was Andre’s close friend during his time in Philadelphia. He is also godparent to Andre’s dog Drizzy, introducing the young puppy to the mean streets of Philadelphia. Kevin’s least favorite memory of Drizzy is probably when he filtered through 2 days of dog poop after Drizzy swallowed a scalpel blade….

Krista is Shelby's friend from ice skating. Krista has always been a very dear friend to Shelby and is Shelby's personnel fashion expert. Krista is the only friend Shelby can stay on the phone with for hours on end.

Michael is Shelby’s close friend from her nursing days in Cleveland, OH. He is currently working in Cincinnati and claims the duo was notorious for kicking butt and taking names in the cardiac operating room (even though Michael only lasted 1 day and decided to stick with ENT).
Michelle Samuel

Michelle is Andre's younger sister. Although Andre is a spine surgeon, Michelle has achieved the head of finance title at her company in a much faster time than it took Andre to become a doctor. When she isn't mastering peloton workouts, her life looks a lot similar to that of the show Succession.
William Means

Will is Shelby’s younger brother. Although he is three (3) years younger, he has completed one (1) more Ironman triathlon than Shelby, and also provides her with (unsolicited) advice on financial planning.
