If your formal invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Yes! Please see our hotel page and the link in there to see the hotel options on a map. We don't have a hotel block because we want guests to feel like they have plenty of options regardless of vacation plans and budget. We do recommend you book fast if there's a place you want to stay at since there's no blocking. If you have questions on other places you'd want to stay or Airbnb options you found that you want an opinion on, just email us!
Yes, there will be at least one way of transportation. We will aim to find a spot that works for most people.
Yes there will be a welcoming event the day before the wedding, July 27, 2022. We will try to gather everyone on the 26th and 29th, but it will be casual so don't feel like you have to join if you have sight-seeing plans.
You can email us at patandbela@gmail.com. We'll help you with any questions and we also have a great local Portugal wedding planner, who we can forward your question to.
Yes! We will be sending out an invite with some of this information and we encourage everyone to check our website for updates as we move forward with wedding planning.
Yes of course! Let us know when you fill out your invite. Bela is gluten-free so you can expect AMAZING gluten-free options.
You can expect (fingers crossed) beautiful, sunny weather in July. Pack your bathing suit and some flip flops. 70 degrees in Lisbon feels like 90 degrees, so pack some light clothes!
You can either convert your Dollars through your bank or at the airport kiosks as well. When we visit Portugal, we usually have no problems using our regular credit cards, but we do recommend having some Euros on you just in case or for small items like buying water bottle by the beach.
Summer outfits, wedding attire, bathing suit, comfy shoes for walking around if you want to sight-see, PASSPORT (put this somewhere safe so you don't forget!!!) and don't forget an EU travel adapter or converter to plug in your items while traveling. Europe has different plugs, so in order to charge your phone, hair curler, camera etc. you'll need to get a converter/adapter depending on your item's voltage. You can find a ton of options on Amazon!
We will be monitoring Portugal's travel restrictions. At the moment, travel is permitted from US and Brazil to Portugal and you DO NOT need a negative COVID-19 test. You can also stay up to date by checking out the Portugal Embassy page: https://pt.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/
