Love is patient, but we were not. We may have already tied the knot but we cannot wait to finally celebrate with all our family and friends! While the license is signed, there were some things we saved to share with you all - we are so happy you’ll be able to witness us exchanging our vows for the first time, our first dance, cake cutting, and more.

On April 16th 2019, 2 years to the day the couple started talking, the groom took the bride to Milestones where they had their first date. Shaun ordered the same meals they had that night and once they were finished made a quick stop at the bride’s parents’ house. When he returned, he blindfolded her for a 40+ minute drive. Full of nerves and excitement, Shaun kept asking Serena if she knew where they were going. After what felt like an eternity, the bride started to hear water though this did not give away the location. Still blindfolded, the groom took the bride’s hand and led her out of the car and the sound of water grew louder and louder. Shaun then expressed his love for Serena and when she took off the blindfold he was down on one knee with the cutest 2 month old baby wearing a “Will You Marry Daddy?” onesie. They were at Blakney Rapid’s. This was where the groom used to come as a child and where he brought Serena to celebrate her first Mother’s Day. It was also the place he always told the bride they would take their children for picnics and family adventures. Serena of course said yes!

Serena and Shaun started talking on April 16th 2017, thanks to a little yellow app. The two went for dinner on April 18th at Milestones where they quickly bonded over music and the date ended much too soon thanks to Serena’s dad pulling into the driveway. They both instantly felt the connection and it was the best date either of them had ever had. Their second date was on April 22nd where Shaun introduced Serena to the world of Game Of Thrones. In return, Shaun got to watch the entire Gilmore Girls series every year for the first 4 years of the relationship and take part in semi-annual Harry Potter Marathons. Shaun asked Serena to be his girlfriend on May 9th and from that day on the two became inseparable. They moved into together after only a few months and brought home Loki on their 1-year anniversary. On February 14th 2019, they welcomed their little love bug, Hudson, into the world. Shaun asked Serena to be his wife on April 16th. Despite their efforts to have their wedding in 2020, the two tied the knot in an intimate Pakistani ceremony in September of 2020 and gave birth to their second baby boy, Avery, on April 19th 2021. Serena and Shaun fell in love hard and fast and have not looked back since. While everyday is not perfect, they are perfect for each other and cannot wait to see what life has in store for them next. They cannot wait to finally say their vows to one another and have the wedding they've been dreaming of since meeting over 5 years ago.
