Hannah and Jacquelyn became friends in high school through their competitiveness, love of bursting randomly out into song and dance and lack of fear about being true with one another.

Introducing Alex, aka Big Al!!! Alex is my little brother. We’ve been each other’s enemies for most of our childhood, but best friends our whole lives. Alex is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet and there isn’t a single person that dislikes this guy. We love beating every Halo game on Legendary, watching random tv shows, and jam sessions in the car. This man is an absolute stud!

Introducing Evan! Fun fact, this photo was taken by her 2 year old! Evan goes out of her way to love others well and is incredibly thoughtful. Evan and Jacquelyn began to get to know one another while coaching cross country together. When the season ended, they decided to continue to spend time together. Whether it was relaxing at one another’s house, coaching, instacarting, chasing Evan’s little girl around or running to meet halfway between their homes for a run together, Evan was, and is, a friend that invited Jacquelyn to join her in ordinary life and made it time to be treasured.

Introducing Justin Stiner! Justin is my big brother and the oldest of our family. He’s a natural leader and always wants to be in on the action. Justin is super competitive in absolutely everything and loves figuring out how to win. He was the first to do pretty much everything in our family and has helped me in every season of life. I’ve always looked up to him and respected what an amazing man of God he has always been. Couldn’t have been blessed with a better older bro.

Introducing Naomi! A friend and Jacquelyn's current roommate at the Yak Shak. Naomi and Jacquelyn became friends in high school through a FCA bible study Naomi led after school. Though at one time Naomi and Jacquelyn lived states apart, God was faithful in growing this friendship through phone calls on morning commutes and cold winter walks. Naomi is someone you want with you in good times (like a wedding day! Woot! Woot!) and hard times. She is a friend that celebrates and encourages others around her. She is a friend that thinks deeply about things, is funny, and goes out of her way to include others and make others feel loved. She has the gift of hospitality in making others feel welcome and Christ can be seen working in her through the ways she loves others well.

Introducing Aaron! Aaron has one of the cutest dogs ever, Mocha. He’s an amazing therapist and absolutely loves peanut butter. We love watching The Great British Baking Show and Cobra Kai together. I met Aaron soon after I moved to Cincinnati back in May 2020. It didn’t take long for us to become close friends. I’ve never connected and opened up so quickly with someone (other than Jacquelyn :-) ). Aaron is my best friend and I’m super grateful to have been able to know him over the last 2 years.

Introducing Erin! Erin and Jacquelyn became friends in 3rd grade. She has been a good friend through many different seasons of life. She is a friend that always brings life and energy with her wherever she goes (especially if it involves a competition). Erin is a leader that takes time to invest in the lives of the individuals she leads. This carries over into her friendships as well; she listens and loves her friends very well and is both wise and comforting when providing counsel. She is a friend that is easy to talk to and a lot of fun to be around and Jacquelyn and her have gotten to enjoy many coffee shop outings together in this season of life just as they got to enjoy each other’s company at school and at countless track and cross country meets throughout their friendship.

Introducing Alex Pratt! He may technically be my brother in law, but I view him as a true brother. We love talking sports with one another, especially fantasy football! You’ll never see a person negotiate and like this man. It has been a blessing and joy to have him join our family. Very grateful him and Jessica gave me the best first niece an uncle could ask for! :-)

Introducing Sara! A childhood best friend of Jacquelyn’s that has stuck around all these years. Sara and Jacquelyn became friends over years of Girl Scouts and Soccer together but grew even closer through time at youth group together (which Sara consistently invited Jacquelyn to throughout their tweens and early teens). She is a friend that consistently invites others to be apart of the group and to know Jesus better. She is a friend that you can have deeply meaningful conversations with and moments filled with an abundance of laughter. She brings an abundance of energy and passion to the things she is a part of.

Introducing Tommy (far right in the pic)!!! Tommy and I have only been friends for a year, but man do I love this guy! Tommy is graduating from UC as an architect this spring. Tommy is very genuine and a great friend. He’s hilarious and I love spending time with him. The growth I’ve seen in Tommy over the last year has been absolutely amazing. God is doing incredible things in his life and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for him!
Jacob Rankin

Introducing Jacob! Jacob has been my friend since 4th or 5th grade and we’ve known each other since YMCA basketball back in like 1st grade. We bonded through our love for basketball and tennis and we have had just the most amazing times spent together. So many memories; ping pong battles, summer band, poker nights, missions trip, creating videos, late night talks, and so many more. Jacob is an amazing man and I’m truly blessed to call him my friend. Love this man!
