What are the guidelines for attire?
Answer
Black Tie Optional! Floor length dresses, midis, or formal cocktail dresses for the ladies and suits or tuxes for the gentlemen are recommended! Ladies: Ceremony and cocktail hour are outside so I would recommend thinking twice about stilettos and opting for more of a wedge or block heel!

Will I be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors. The Reception that follows will be inside of the Cotton Dock (yes it is air conditioned)!

Are kids allowed?

Although we adore your children, this is an adult only affair! Ages 21+ please

Will there be transportation to/from the Wedding?

Is there parking at the Venue? Can you leave your car overnight?
Answer
Yes and Yes!! There is a parking lot in the back of the property which you are welcome to leave your vehicle in overnight. You will need to pick it up the next day during Boone Hall operating hours. *There is also a designated spot for Ubers/Lyfts to drop off as well!

How do I get on property?

There is a guard gate at the entrance of Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens. Please tell the guard that you are here for the Dawes/Flaherty wedding and they will direct you from there!

Can you request songs at the reception?
Answer
Send your requests to Shane or Chandler when you RSVP!! There is no taking requests at the reception unfortunately!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
If you're not arriving on the shuttles, please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to ceremony start time!

Transporation is provided for the wedding party and family only to rehearsal and rehearsal dinner!
