Whitewater rafting down the Nantahala has quickly become one of our favorite summer activities. We highly recommend grabbing a partner and going down the rapids in a ducky!

Lakes End Boat Rental and Marina

Lakes End Marina offers the largest fleet of boat rentals on Lake Nantahala and provides on-lake access with plenty of parking on site. You can rent pontoons/tritoons, ski boats, pass boats as well as canoes, kayaks, sailboats and more!

Fly Fishing

Wayah Bald

Just 30 minutes from the venue, Wayah Bald has a vantage point of 5,342 ft. in elevation in the Nantahala National Forest. On a clear day, you can see north to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and south into the rolling hills of Georgia. Take a short hike from the summit parking area to climb an old stone fire tower, built in 1937, to witness panoramic views of the southern Appalachian mountain chain. For those of you that are feeling feisty, you can take on the 9 mile long hike to the top along the AT.
