FAQs

The Wedding Website of Shana Fortson and Justin Ware
Question

ARE KIDS ALLOWED?

Answer

As we love spending time with all your little ones - we have limited space with our venue. The only children attending are immediate family members or they're apart of the wedding party. We hope you understand and enjoy a date night with your special someone for our special day!

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st, 2024 using the QR code on your invitation or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above.

Question

Dress Code

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, creams. Additionally, please avoid wearing hunter green as this is a color specified for the groom. This is a formal/semi-formal event. Please do not wear flip flops, crocs, or lounge wear. Bust out the suits/dresses in the back of the closet and enjoy the night dressed to the nines.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Question

...so what's the bar situation?

Answer

We will have an open bar with signature drinks and beer options. Please remember to bring a little cash to tip the bartenders that will keep your cups full all night. For non alcoholic drinks, we have unlimited coca-cola products along with lemonade and sweet tea.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our venue has free on-site parking. We do encourage, if guests are planning on drinking, please keep in mind a driving service like Uber/Lyft/local taxi service.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outside and the reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will be outdoors as well.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us under our hashtag #WareBetterTogether
