We're getting hitched!

Our story began all by a little swipe on Facebook dating. We were both shocked with how well we instantly connected. We talked for about a month through the app and finally decided it was time to meet. We agreed to meet on a random Tuesday at a little place called Olive Tree in Villa Rica, GA. We enjoyed a nice meal (even though Justin had a fly land in his pasta - he was so polite to the waitress about it even though I know it ruined his appetite.) The night was perfect; between the conversation and instant connection I knew he was going to be sticking around. Justin was extremely patient after our first date because I had a huge trip planned to go visit my family and friends in Texas. We talked, but maybe not as much as we wanted to at the time. However, when I was in Houston he made a comment thinking I was back in town and I responded with "If I was back in town we would already have plans." That was the day Justin knew we were going to be great together! November 2022 we went on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation with my family to Roatan, Honduras. We went to celebrate my sister and brother-in-law's 25th wedding anniversary, but little did I know Justin had a little surprise up his sleeve. It was another random Tuesday that we spent at Little French Key where we enjoyed all the water activities and drinks all day. On our way home my niece wanted to get dressed up and take photos at sunset. Well.... I was all for that but I wanted to go jump in the pool and make more Pina coladas before we went down to the dock. Everyone was rushing and getting ready when I finally agreed I should get ready myself. We finally make it to the dock and I'm a little ahead of everyone and when I turn around I see Justin on one knee. My best friend proposed to me in the most magical place with my family present. That moment is beyond my favorite moment of my life. Justin and I have been best friends since we've met and I know this new adventure of marriage will only be more amazing! So family and friends, I'm here to say sometimes swiping right on a dating app really does pay off! :)
