Shaley first met Jeffrey during Singin' In The Rain at SLO Little Theatre. Jeff was singing, and Shaley ended up dropping the rain. The two lost touch until they were re-introduced by bridesmaid Amanda at her wedding in pre-pandemic 2020.

When Jeffrey re-met Shaley he had no idea she was trying to flirt. A month later, as the pandemic began, Jeff sent a multi-paragraph formal letter-style text asking if Shaley would consider going on a date at some indeterminate date in the future. Shaley replied, "It's on" and indeed, it IS on.

Voted most likely to leave early - make sure to say hello before sundown! Shaley's sister enjoys quiet time, studying birds, and spends her free time volunteering with Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Jeff has shared the stage with Central Coast Treasure: Billy Breed many times: as feuding church ladies, radio co-hosts, even Romeo & Juliet. As a dear friend to both Shaley and Jeff, Billy honors us with this special performance: that of Best Man.
Kieran Beccia

Would rather be with their cat, Ralph Nader, but has chosen to honor us with their presence in exchange for the promise of a heated debate about the assassination of JFK. Kieran was Shaley’s first best friend, and now has an active theatre career in the Bay Area. Jeff thanks Kieran for teaching him how to play the Harry Potter Cooperative Board Game.

Toby and Jeff became friends on the Melodrama stage. They bonded over their similar senses of humor and love of restaurants. Toby orders the Ravioli de Zucca at every Italian restaurant, but after reading the menu will make you think he might branch out. He will not. Amanda has been starring as Shaley's sister since the two played the evil step sisters in high school. They have continued their sisterhood for more than 13 years since, on and off the stage. Amanda (re)introduced Shaley and Jeff 2.5 years ago at her wedding.

Mike is a very cool dude, an impeccable dresser, a talented performer and a great friend. Not to mention an amazing Dungeon Master. From the moment he and Jeff met and compared beards in a play at PCPA, a friendship was formed.
Sara I'Anson

Sara has an incredible sense of humor and style which she has channeled into a career as a professional esthetician. Shaley is overjoyed to be gaining Sara as a sister and hopes that Sara will protect her from years of her own future unruly nose hairs. Jeff looks up to her in many ways (and thanks her for waxing his nose hairs.)

Brother-in-law, half of the I'Anson power couple. He is a professional musician and very competitive at board games.

Pam's relationship with both Shaley and Jeff predates their knowledge of one another. Pam has been a true friend for nearly a decade, through many shows, homes, garage sales, cat funerals, and more. Pam is the only person in Shaley's life who is allowed to facetime before 8am.
Suzy Newman

Beyond being one of the most incredible talents on the central coast, Suzy is an incredibly thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, and deeply socially aware person. She is a talented director and coach, and a rock solid friend. She is someone to rely on to provide deeply honest feedback, and we can think of no one more qualified to marry us.
