We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We first met 7+ years ago during SLO Little Theatre's production of Singin' In The Rain. Jeff played the leading role, and Shaley dropped the rain every night. Over the years we saw each other infrequently through mutual friends at the theatre. When bridesmaid Amanda Thayer had her wedding on leap day 2020, she told both Shaley and Jeff (separately) that there would be someone at the wedding she thought they might really like. Neither saw it coming, and when Shaley attempted to flirt with Jeff during the reception he had no idea. Amanda did not give up and weeks after the wedding suggested that Jeff ask Shaley out despite the fresh pandemic and the 300 miles between them. On March 31, 2020 Jeff drafted a very formal text asking Shaley out at some indeterminate date in the future. Shaley replied, "It's on," and indeed it is still on.

Hello all! I am sure we are all burned out regarding COVID, monkeypox, and every other icky bug going around. We would love to see your smiles and boogie down with you on the dance floor, but if you have ANY SYMPTOMS OF ANY ILLNESS on our wedding day, please stay home to protect us and our immunocompromised loved ones. If you have had close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID, please diligently test yourself or consider staying home. Here's hoping we can all get together safely as planned!
