Kam was the officiant at Oscar’s wedding, now it’s his turn to return the favor. As the voice of reason in the group, he never backs down from a chance to be brutally honest with you. Kam and Oscar work in similar industries and find themselves venting over the phone on their way home from work most days. Oscar can be easily identified as the first and last person on the dance floor.

Shai’s little sister and built in bestie. They’ve dreamed of this day together for what seems like forever. Although almost complete opposites growing up, they have found in adulthood that they actually have a lot in common. The day wouldn’t be the same without Ash by her side! *This website was edited and reviewed by Ash- our personal “grammar police”*

Sophi Stake

Shai’s (not so little anymore) cousin. She shares in a lot of the same loves that Shai had at her age (mainly softball). We couldn’t be prouder of the woman she is becoming and can’t wait to have her as part of the wedding party!

Aliviah Stake

Shai’s little cousin. Much like her sister, Sophi, she shares a love for Softball! We are so proud of them both and the accomplishments they continue to make in life. Livi is a ball of energy that can always bring a smile to your face. We can’t wait for her to join us on our big day!

Samantha Waller

Shai’s best friend and an obvious choice to be a bridesmaid. Their friendship started in college (OU, Oh Yeah!) over similar living conditions and venting about life (thank god they were suite mates)! Sam is always there no matter how far away they are from one another. She has truly seen the highest highs and lowest lows!

Hayley Brooksbank

Hayley and Shai met in college. They were both Early Childhood majors at Ohio University (Go Cats!) and had most of their classes together. They lived together for their grad school year (with Allison and Sam) and their friendship grew over that time. They have remained friends over the last 6 years since then, even though Hayley has now moved to a different country!

Allison Watts

Allison is also a friend Shai met in college. They were both in the same major and had most of their Early Childhood classes together (Bobcats for life!) Fun Fact: Allison is the proud dog mom of Mia who is Shai’s dog (Bennett)’s sister. They got them from the same litter when they lived together their grad school year. At the time, there were 4 dogs living in a 4 bedroom apartment which was absolute chaos, but the good kind!

Emily Spreng

Of the Bridesmaids, Emily is Shai’s longest (not related) friend. They became friends in High School when they played Volleyball together (Go Birds!). Although they have not been as close, living further apart through college and beyond, they have kept in touch and are there through all of life’s big moments.

Kris LaPan

Best Man

Kam’s older brother and first best friend. From Pokémon battles as kids to now sharing home renovation frustrations, they have remained close through it all. Kris and his wife, Carrie, have welcomed a baby boy recently, giving Kam the opportunity to finally be the fun Uncle he was always meant to be. Kam was Kris’s best man in his wedding, now it’s his turn to return the favor.

Davis Turner

One of Kam’s longest friends. As graceful as a bull in a china shop, Davis always finds himself apologizing for something he broke. Although Davis and Kam didn’t go to college together, they somehow managed to merge the friends they each met into one big group.

James Clark

Groomsman

James and Kam met freshman year of college living just a few doors down from each other. They were roommates for the rest of their college careers and remained close friends ever since. Many don’t know, but James is a former YouTube sensation, having played the main character in a Clarkson-sponsored short film.

Cade Beachler

Cade is Shai’s brother and youngest sibling. Although there is 6 years difference in age, Shai and Cade have the most in common. They look the most alike, have had the most similar interests and even went to the same University ! (Again.. Go Cats!) Fun Fact: He has 3 older sisters and is the only boy of the family. Now he finally gets another brother (in law)!

Austin Hanson

Amateur gamer, professional karaoke singer. Known to steal the hearts and minds of the 2am crowd at your local Applebees. Austin is one of Kam’s long time high school friends and is constantly in competition for Oscar’s approval.

Vinny Puleo

Groomsman

The OG (Original Gabagool), Kam’s first pure blooded Italian friend. He was Oscar’s college roommate, and his first words when he met Kam were, “my god, you’re short!” It’s been a tough love relationship ever since.

Joe Naylor

Flower Guy

Another longtime friend, Joe and Kam first started out playing hockey in the Adirondack youth league. After some challenging varsity years, Joe realized his professional hockey career was probably over, so he switched to golf and works as a pro in a Florida golf course. Some might say it’s been his life calling to be a flower boy.

Jesse Wolf-Gould

The best of everyone. Jesse and Kam were roommates for a year and co-parented the world renown “Bubba”, a beloved, rambunctious, french bulldog. As the only ACTUAL politician of the group, you might as well start referring to him as Mr. President now. Jesse may be the only former D1 football player to also play the role of flower boy.
