This is the first picture we took together after our band banquet with "The Pride" Marching Band in 2018 at Texas A&M University-Commerce where we met!

Our first big date to Six Flags in 2018 at Holiday in the Park while still getting to know each other! We continue to go each year, as you'll see in the photos later on!

We took this photo on the day we made things official, January 9th, 2019!

This picture was taken at a jazz concert in 2019 where Nick was playing piano and Shae sang vocals for the group. Fun Fact: This photo has been the screensaver on Shae's phone ever since it was taken!

Of course Shae had to take Nick to the best peach orchard around for the first time in 2019 when it opened for the season, Ham Orchards!

We took a trip to Oklahoma to enjoy time with each other before school started. Shae transferred to TWU in the fall, and this is where we began to navigate a long-distance relationship (it was hard!)

Once school started, we were so busy given that we were both music majors, but we still made time to see and support each other!

At this point, photos became really important to us since we weren't together each day!

Even the silly ones! :)

It wasn't known at the time, but this trip to "Ice" at the Gaylord Texan in 2019 has become another tradition we have enjoyed going to (almost) each year!

Back at Holiday in the Park in 2019!

We decided to take a day trip to Waco, TX and visit all things Magnolia Market for our 1 year anniversary!

But of course we couldn't leave without getting a silly photo!

As if we weren't using Skype enough already, this definitely didn't change once the effects of COVID-19 halted any plans we had to see each other, but we still found ways to make each other laugh!

Holiday in the Park looked a little different in 2020, but we still had to go!

Here we celebrated our 2 year anniversary with a nice dinner out in 2021!

In the spring of 2021, we visited The Chairy Orchard in Denton, Texas, and got this cute photo taken of us during our visit!

HAWAII!! This vacation with family was so fun and we will cherish our memories there for many many years!

During our vacation, we went on an ATV tour on the island, and it was so much fun!

And we might have gotten just a little dirty along the way!

Less than a month later, we went to New Orleans!! This city is full of fun and beautiful art and culture! We took this picture before going on a Riverboat Jazz Cruise (no pictures on it though!)

Looking back, the summer of 2021 was one for the books! Pictures don't do it justice, but Bourbon Street was awesome!

We went out for a date night at the end of summer in 2021 before going back to our schools, and this beautiful mural caught our eye! Fun fact: We now live about 5 minutes away from here 3 years later!

Autumn at the arboretum in 2021 was so cool! This is one of our favorite pictures from that day!

Holiday in the Park 2021! We almost left without a picture, so we snagged this one by the sign on the way out!

We decided to get a little dressed up and celebrated our 3 year anniversary at Blue Goose Cantina! If you haven't been before, you need to give it a visit soon!

Painting with a Twist: Couple's Night! This was our first time doing this together in 2022 to celebrate my birthday, and I'd like to think we did a pretty good job overall!

GRADUATION!!! Nick had finished his student teaching for his music education degree, and Shae finished all of her music therapy courses in preparation for internship in August!

Walt Disney World with the family was such a blast!

We spent a lot of time at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge on our day at Hollywood Studios because there is so much to do and see! Fun fact: This has been Nick's screensaver on his phone since we took it!

We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to make memories with one another at the most magical place on earth!

A month later, we were beachin' it with the fam! Good times spent soakin' up the sun (or hiding from it!) in Gulf Shores, Alabama!

We also went night fishing, and Shae is still proud of this catch today!

We saw a post online about Pumpkin Nights in 2022 and made a trip to see what it was all about! There were lots of great photo opportunities and it was a lot of fun!

Holiday in the Park in 2022!

This picture was taken on Easter Sunday in 2023 at Heartland Church! We visited for the first time 6 months prior to this photo being taken, and we instantly knew that this is where we needed to be!

Vacation time in 2023! We stayed the night in Kemah before leaving for our cruise the next day (AKA the vacation where we got engaged!)

While in port at Costa Maya, we walked through a bird aviary that also included walking across hanging bridges along the way. The view at this point was spectacular and we had to capture the moment!

These flamingos were below the bird aviary we went through on our way out. Fun fact: Nick was planning to propose at this port, but there wasn't a time where our family was picking up on his hints!

The proposal!! We started our day "taking pictures" as couples and groups. Oblivious to the fact of what was actually happening, Shae was completely surprised the moment Nick got down on one knee!

She said yes!! Right along the beach at our second port in Cozumel, we got an upgrade from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiancé and fiancée! A moment neither of us will ever forget!

"Ice" in 2023 was the best year yet (of course this may be a little biased since it's Shae's favorite movie ever)! It featured Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and it was great!

Holiday in the Park 2023!

We like to say that we're in our pickleball era for the year of 2024! This sport is one we love to play together, and we may or may not have upgraded our paddles since this photo was taken...

We celebrated 5 years together on January 9th, 2024! We aren't sure how it's been 5 years already, but there is nobody else we would rather spend the rest of our lives with!

We had our engagement photos taken a few months ago in March, and they turned out great!
