we're getting married!

We met in college on Homecoming in 2011. Cory thought I was super cute (obviously) and I thought Cory was really tall. About 6 months later, we went on a few dates, however, Cory was graduating and I still had another year of school.. so we went our separate ways. Almost 6 years later, we crossed paths again at our friend's wedding shower. After that night, Cory asked me out on many dates, all that I politely declined. After many texts and a couple run-ins with each other, I finally agreed to go on a date with Cory on July 4, 2017. The rest is history! After that 10 hour "second" first date, we both knew that this was the real deal. :)

Cory surprised me with day/night trip to our old stomping ground, Menomonie WI. After checking into our hotel, we drove to Chippewa Falls to go to the Leinenkugels Brewery. Fun Fact #1: On one of our first dates in 2012, Cory took me to Leiny's Brewery! After a drink, we started to head back to Menomonie when Cory took an unexpected turn. We had taken a detour to go to a lookout tower (Fun Fact #2: Cory took me here on another one of our first dates in 2012). When we got to the top of the tower, Cory got on one knee and popped the big question! I was so excited I forgot to say YES! (I thought it was just implied? ;) ). It was such an amazing moment that we will never forget!
