Flight
PWM is Portland's small, but mighty jetport. Rental cars are available on site, as Bristol is a super scenic 1.5 hour drive north. We recommend taking Route 1 for the full coastal experience, extra points for grabbing a lobster roll on the way.
Flight
If you can't easily fly into PWM, Logan airport is a fine second choice. You will have a slightly longer drive ahead of you and don't forget to account for summer traffic in Maine.
Hotel
We have reserved all the rooms at the quaint Bradley Inn for the wedding party and some immediate family. However we would love for you to stay close! (Hint hint- the Hotel Pemaquid is steps away). Word on the street is there may be an after party in the works for those who want keep the party going post 10pm. If we have tapped you for staying at the Bradley Inn, no need to take any action, we will reach out with everything you need to know!
Hotel
This cute coastal inn is the definition of old school coastal Maine. It's steps away from Pemaquid Lighthouse, and about a 4 minute walk from where the Wedding Party will be staying. It has a wide variety of rooms available and for Midcoast Maine it's surely a bargain. They won't start booking for the 2022 season until the New Year, and reserving a room will require a phone call and mailing cash or check- like we said, old school.
Hotel
The most quaint little country cottages await! Rustic and clean, with a dock down to the river complete with a paddle boat to use. Perfect for families, larger rooms available complete with kitchenettes. Like most spots a two night minimum is required, but we don't think you'll want to leave.
Hotel
If you're more in the mood for 2 nights closer to the amenities of Damariscotta, the Newcastle Inn may be right for you. It's darn adorable and breakfast is of course included. Please note, all accommodations north of the 1812 Farm will have a slightly earlier departure time from the reception. If you're a dancing machine we wouldn't call this home for the night.
Shuttle
July 30, 2022 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
We will be providing transportation (big yellow buses) to and from select locations to 1812 Farm. If you plan on having more than a few bud lights and will need a ride, we strongly suggest staying at one of the listed hotel options. Ubers in mid-coast are few and far between.
Travel Note
In addition to the recommendations we've provided, there are a handful of other options in the area. Inns, Air B&Bs and Motels are a plenty, just keep in mind we are not able to provide transportation to these spots.
