Charleston International Airport (CHS)
This is by far the closest and easiest airport to fly into. They have most airlines, as well as newer budget airlines (Breeze, Avelo) for those flying in from a number of cities, including Pittsburgh, Connecticut, New York and Tampa.

If you're looking to explore downtown in between wedding activities or prefer to be closer to the venues for the welcome party and wedding, staying on the peninsula makes the most sense for you. Should you decide that staying near the beach and being a 25-30 minute drive from things is more your speed, we would recommend a beach rental in Isle of Palms or Folly Beach. Stay Duvet is a very popular rental company, and you can also book through their site or on Airbnb/VRBO.

Wedding guests can obtain the $389 rate by calling directly and mentioning the McGillicuddy/Fitzgerald wedding. The rate is available until August 7, or until the room block sells out.
