Hello! I am Sean’s older brother and my name is Ian. My younger brother is one of the smartest and kindest people I know and throughout our life growing up together I could always rely on him as a shoulder to lean on and an ear to confide in. My brother is one of the most important people in my life and when he introduced me to Julia I knew he had found the perfect partner. From introduction Julia has been nothing but welcoming, kind, and a true match to Seans wit. I am so overjoyed to welcome her into our family.

Julia and I first met as roommates going in to freshmen year at Cal State Long Beach. What started as roomies quickly turned in to inseparable besties and over the decade of knowing each other we’ve shared many adventures. Whether we’ve shared the same room or lived states apart we’ve always been there for each other, from the small moments like all day marathons watching ghost adventures to the big ones like celebrating graduations. I’m so excited to be standing by her as she marries her best friend and can’t wait for all of the fun adventures life takes them in this next chapter.

Sean has been my older brother for about as long as I can remember, so writing this quite a few memories came to mind. Memories like when as kids we would go to San Jose Sharks games, eat at the local Round Table or Mountain Mikes Pizza in town, or spend our days in our neighborhood playing soccer or riding scooters and bikes. Even as the cool older brother that Sean is, he would still make time to spend with his younger brother. Sean has always been the same incredibly empathetic, sharp witted, and fiercely loyal person that he is today. I knew from the first day that Sean introduced us to Julia that she had all of the same qualities that make Sean such a great brother. Julia will be an exceedingly welcome addition to our family, because in all fairness she already feels family.

Julia and I met in 2013 working as summer interns, and pretty much became instant friends! We spent years as roommates after college and she’s like family to me. I’ve seen Julia and Sean’s relationship blossom since the very beginning, and am so happy to be part of their wedding!
