We kindly ask that children stay at home and parents enjoy a night out! This event is for adults only

Will you have transportation to and from the venue?

Yes! Here is the schedule for shuttle service to and from the venue: SHUTTLE SCHEDULE Shuttle 1: 3pm-6pm 3:40pm Pick up guests from Marriott Mag Mile (540 Michigan Ave)- depart 3:45pm 3:50pm Pick up guests from The Gwen (521 N Rush St) - depart 3:55pm 4:00pm Pick up guests from Courtyard River North (30 E Hubbard St)-depart 4:05pm 4:20pm Drop off guests at Midwest Coat Brewery - head to Marriott Mag Mile 4:35pm Pick up guests from Marriott Mag Mile (540 Michigan Ave) - depart 4:40pm 4:45pm Pick up guests from The Gwen (521 N Rush St) - depart 4:50pm 4:50pm Pick up guests from Courtyard River North - depart 4:55pm 5:10pm Guests arrive at Walden Shuttle 2 Back to Hotels: 9pm-12:00pm - continuous trips from Walden to the hotels (Gwen, Marriott Mag Mile & Courtyard) Check out the Brewery next door if you arrive early!

Will you have hotel blocks reserved?

Answer

Yes! We have three hotels with room blocks. Please check out the hotels page for more information! All hotels are close to each other but you will need to Uber, drive or take provided transportation to the Wedding venue. Blocks will close on July 8, 2022

Are there other options outside of your hotel blocks?

Answer

There are tons of other hotels in Chicago. Hotel room rates given for our hotel blocks seem to be very average when comparing to other hotels. You can also try Airbnb or VRBO. If you are looking for some adventure they do have hostels in downtown Chicago!

What is parking like in Chicago?

Answer

Parking at hotels is a separate charge from the room rate. There are many other public parking options downtown or you can book something ahead of time using the SpotHero App. While getting around downtown we recommend you take a cab, Uber/Lyft, public transit or walk. If you want to drive somewhere there is metered parking around most areas and you can also use the “SpotHero” app to pre-book spots in parking structures and parking lots. Read signs carefully! There is limited parking in a lot at the venue for our wedding and free street parking.

Our registries are mostly complete! We are accepting donations to our Honeymoon fund and bedroom furniture set fund. See our registry page for links.

We will be headed to a bar closer to the hotels after the wedding. More details to come!

What are the Covid-19 Restrictions in Chicago?

Answer

Currently there are no city wide covid restrictions in place. Each business is different and some are still following previous covid guidelines. This is all subject to change and we will do our best to keep you updated with the most current information.

Is Chicago safe?

Answer

Chicago overall is a very safe city. Be smart about your surroundings and your personal items when out and about. Chicago in the Summer is very lively so you will be around plenty of other people too!
