On our first date, Sean took me to a small, local Mexican restaurant. I wasn't a fan of Mexican food at the time, but I was a big fan of Sean, and so I went. As we waited for our food I tried to impress him with my straw paper worm trick. The straw wrapper gets crinkled up to resemble a worm and then you drop some of your drink on it to make it 'move'. I don't know if he was that impressed by my magic or what, but here we are!

We took a little plane over Denali National Park for a flight-seeing tour during our Alaska trip. I had been nervous that airport security was going to take out the ring and give away the surprise when on the way to Alaska. I tapped Alex on the shoulder and whispered in her ear as to not make a scene in front of the other people on our plane. She said yes, then maybe, then yes again.
