This is our favorite beach and, in our opinion, has some of the best snorkeling on the island. Parking is fairly limited, so arriving early is key. Please note that there is a short 10 minute hike from parking to the beach.
A hike just off Salt Pond Beach -- about 2.5 miles round trip. The walk is very exposed so don't forget sunscreen!
Always a staple when we visit -- great cheeseburgers and drinks, laid back island vibe. Definitely recommend this for a late lunch if spending the morning at Salt Pond Bay.
Maho Bay is another amazing beach on St. John. Across the street from the beach you will find Maho Crossroads -- a small area with a food truck, a tiki bar, a small store, and rental options including stand up paddle boards.
You really can't beat a floating taco bar in the Caribbean. Lime Out is located in Coral Bay and only accessible by boat. There are various options for organizing a trip to the restaurant located on their website. Taylor and Scott will surely be here at some point during the week!
Mongoose Junction is a small shopping center just outside of downtown Cruz Bay. It is the home to the St. John Brewers Tap Room, North Shore Deli (a great stop for sandwiches on the way to the beach), and lots of cute little shops.
A great spot high up on St. John for a cocktail and sunset views.
... if you can catch her when she's open. A great authentic Caribbean meal, right on the water. You're likely to have goats and donkeys roaming up to your table asking for a snack.
