Deep Sea Fishing Charter

THIS EVENT IS FULL Wedding guests may join a 6-hour deep sea fishing trip on Thursday morning with Down South Charter. There is space for 12 passengers. Current group includes: 1. Dave Schneider (Jordan's cousin) 2. Rachel Haskins (Dave's fiancée) 3. Tim Sorum (Jordan's cousin) 4. Shane Bertish 5. Stephen Downing (Shane's Uncle) 6. Oscar Gomiez (Shane's friend) 7. Chelsey Primdahl (Oscar's guest) 8. Tarek Nahabet (Shane and Jordan's friend) 9. Clint Schneider (Jordan's father) 10. Sean Hafner (Shane's friend) 11. Adam Wesolowski (Sean's guest) 12. Walter Santamaria (Jordan and Shane's friend) Price per person will be around $140. Fee includes captain, fuel, bait, coolers, ice, and water. It does not include gratuity.
Sunset Sail on the Jolly Mon

This is an optional event. Thursday evening sunset sail around the west end of St. Croix with live music and unlimited rum punch aboard the Jolly Mon, a 65-foot catamaran, departing from the famous Frederiksted Pier. Cash bar will also be available. Max Guests = 48 $65 per person. (Recommended 20% gratuity not included) Option to add a snack pack catered by a local restaurant for $15. For kids under 10, the operator recommends parent-provided life vests. (Hotels often have them. Can be anything from water wings to padded suits, and only for toddlers/kids without boundaries since it is an open deck.) Welcome Dinner

This is an outdoor event a working farm. There will be a brief tour before dinner, so wear shoes you can walk in for about half an hour. Shane and I like to dress for a nice dinner out, and that's exactly what this is!
**Meal preferences section below has been corrected** This event is optional. Ridge-to-Reef organic farm hosts a “slow-down dinner” once every two weeks, and it is one of our favorite things to do with visiting guests. They have a different farm-to-table menu every week, and it is always fabulous. Dinner will start with a brief tour of the farm (about half an hour). There are typically 5 to 6 courses, with vegetarian options always available. They introduce each course, using the opportunity to talk about the farm and the harvest. Musical entertainment is provided during dinner, and at the end of the night, they light up a giant fireball for all to enjoy. This is a unique experience in a mountain rainforest setting. Nate and his team at the farm have agreed to host a special slow-down dinner for us, and Shane and I hope to see you there! The farm suggests donations of $75 per person. Proceeds support the farm’s school lunch program for St. Croix schoolchildren. Drinks are BYOB.

Ceremony and Reception

This is an outdoor, beachside wedding. It will be warm but breezy, so we suggest lightweight clothing, with cotton or linen being ideal. The grounds comprise historic stone ruins, uneven walkways, and grassy areas, so perhaps avoid sharp heels.
Please arrive no later than 3:30 p.m.

Sunday Brunch

This event is optional. The Featherleaf Inn is organizing a Sunday brunch for any guests who would like to attend. Shuttle service will be available (See Travel page.) We are still finalizing the menu, but the hotel has quoted us a cost of $47 pp, which includes bottomless mimosas. :) Please let us know if you would like to join us for brunch!
