After loosely knowing each other freshman year of high school, on the first day of sophomore year Zach fell on Julia during their school's opening ceremony. And they've been falling for each other ever since. Dating "officially" since they were 16 years old, through high school hormones, hundreds of miles of long distance, a global pandemic, Zach and Julia have remained each others' biggest supporters and best friends. Julia frequently asked Zach if he would marry her, to which he consistently responded, "Someday, but I'm proposing to you." That day finally came on February 17, 2023. Zach told Julia not to make plans that Friday as he got a dinner reservation to a restaurant they'd been dying to go to. Although Julia was initially disappointed he had not managed to get a reservation at 4 Charles, what he had planned was so much better. On the rooftop of the hotel next to their apartment, with candles and flowers, Zach proposed to Julia. After tearily accepting and awkwardly looking at each other in awe of what just occurred, Zach led Julia to the restaurant (one they had been wanting to go to) on the first floor of the hotel.
