The resort has so much to do that you never need to leave! It has 11 restaurants, 10 bars, a club, 3 swimming pools, a private cove with smooth white sand, river boats, shopping, tennis courts, putting green, Mayan ruins, jungle trails, a spa, gym, animal exhibits, dive shop with snorkel gear, nightly theater shows, as well as many scheduled adult and child activities! And it’s all inclusive! So eat and drink until you pass out in a lounge chair by the pool (there will be photos taken of anyone found passed out drunk by the pool - ask Jessica and Michael to tell you their story from their last trip), take a good nap, and then do it again. With lots of sunscreen of course!
This waterfront eco-archaeological park is attached to the resort and offers over 50 natural and cultural attractions. It has something for everyone! Because it is attached to the resort, they offer an unlimited pass for a great deal when you book your room if you are interested! This was probably one of our favorite places to be when we took our last trip and we visited almost every day!
This adventure park was another highlight to our last trip! The zip-lining was incredible and we drove the amphibious vehicles multiple times. A must go! Take the safe, air conditioned shuttle to and from the resort/park for ease!
An absolute must see at least once in your life. There are many tours you can take to Chichén-Itzá but we highly recommend booking through Xcaret Expeditions. They were professional, fun, and made us feel safe on our tour!
Take a day trip to Tulum! Tulum is a beautiful town on the coastline of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It’s known for its beaches and well-preserved ruins of an ancient Mayan port city. Xcaret Expeditions offers a tour of Tulum.
An island that is a short ferry ride away from Playa del Carmen. It’s famed for its scuba diving.
