We spent our engagement weekend at a romantic B&B near the trailhead and skied down St Mary’s Glacier to celebrate. The trail is well-trafficked so it’s best to go early, the hike itself is only about 2 miles round trip to get to the lake that sits below the "glacier" (technically a semi-permanent snowfield). Bring a few dollars to pay cash for parking.
Funky brewery / restaurant located inside an old church. They have really unique beers, cocktails and the food was great.
Colorado Springs classic tourist spot! Typically fairly busy but is really cool to see - you can walk or drive around the rock structures. If looking for parking, we have had luck driving past the first parking lot or two within the loop and finding street parking.
Classic Colorado mountain town, with a great strip of little shops, restaurants and bars situated below Pikes Peak.

Beautiful hike within Cheyenne Canyon that we did with Chloe last 4th of July. Cheyenne Canyon was also the location for our engagement photos. This entire area is beautiful and has lots to explore.
As with all of Colorado, the Springs has a number of awesome breweries and bars to check out. Check out some of our favorites -Goat Patch Brewing Company -Red Leg Brewing Company -Brass Brewing Company -Manitou Brewing Company -Phantom Canyon Brewing
We used this platform to brewery hop last 4th of July. You can download their app to find and lock/unlock bikes across the Springs. We’ll put out the disclaimer that the app is not extremely intuitive and there are designated areas to drop the bikes off which may be a little intimidating, but it worked out well for us.
America’s Mountain! Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains at an altitude of 14,115 feet. The highway is 19-miles to get to the top! Once atop, there’s amazing views, a visitor center, and hot donuts :) They do require reservations for each car so we would recommend booking in advance if you’re interested. I believe they run a complimentary shuttle if you aren’t able to get a car reservation. You will need a car reservation ($2) and a ticket per person ($15/person or $50/car) for the mountain
Morrison is one of our favorite hang out spots! Situated at the base of Red Rocks, there are hikes nearby and a fun little Main Street with shops and bars.
Our favorite spot for a drink and an app in Morrison. Highly recommend an order of the garlic bread with cheese, with the roasted tomato, basil, EVOO and balsamic glaze option.
The world famous concert venue! We saw Tyler Childers here last September and it was incredible. The venue is open daily for visitors to see the amphitheater (free).
3 mile loop near Red Rocks with an elevation gain of 679 feet.
3.1 mile loop with 654 ft elevation gain, moderate rated hike in the foothills. There’s also a couple disc golf courses nearby.
Alice in Wonderland themed moody basement style bar with amazing food and cocktails. Journey down the subway steps and experience a new kind of nightlife. Eclectic cuisine, exotic cocktails, haunting decor — It’s no wonder The Rabbit Hole has been nicknamed the Wonderland of the Springs.
Fun, short hike close to Denver with beautiful red rock views and shade.
Local little food chain we came across on our way to Taos, is now a staple when we pass-by. Google describes it well: "Upbeat eatery doling out gourmet hamburgers along with fries, creative sauces, shakes & craft brews."
Fancy resort style food & drinks. Check to see if you’ll need a reservation.
Can get very busy with the shuttle so be sure to plan appropriately and go early
Our favorite, divey bar in Denver! Indoor/outdoor space, cheap drinks, games, & pups allowed!
Great place to brewery/bar hop in Denver near the baseball stadium!
