Located right before the N. Topsail Bridge, the golf course spans both sides of the road for a large 18 hole course.
Fun Fact: The bride has never played golf (unless mini and top golf count) so if you're in the same boat and would prefer miniature golf try Shipwreck Point!
A great place to let kids work out some energy! Also, if you're looking to stay active, there is a separate pedestrian lane for bikes and walking that begins at the park and crosses the Surf City Bridge.
There are multiple public beach accesses all along the island. Some are a simple access point while others have concessions, bathrooms, and outdoor showers. There is also a 4x4 drive on beach located at the northern point of the island. Also, local surf shops often have boards you can rent by the hour/day. PLEASE NOTE... Topsail Island does not have stationed lifeguards on duty. Rip Currents can become strong in this area so please use caution. Dogs are more than welcome on the beach but must be on a lease. Glass containers are NOT allowed on the beach.
There are multiple free boat ramps into the sound. (Must have a license)
You must have a valid NC coastal (not inland) fishing license or fish from one of the 3 piers. Seaview (N. Topsail end, turn left after crossing the Hwy 210 bridge) Surf City (directly across from the Surf City Bridge) Jolly Rodger (S. Topsail end and directly across from the venue, turn right after crossing the Surf City bridge)
Whether you're looking for souvenirs, local treasures, or unique finds there are tons of shops both on and off the island.
