Sara Jamieson

Maid of Honor

Sara is Nicole's cousin on her mom's side and like the little sister she never had but always wanted. Nicole grew up closely with her--from summers playing in the brook at Babcia's home to snowy Thanksgiving's spent sledding to camping trips on Assateague Island. Sara has been by her side through so much. It's only fitting that she's right at Nicole's side on her wedding day! She has helped Nicole and Chris with the wedding planning tremendously and we can't thank her enough!!!

Heather Steele

Matron of Honor

Heather is Chris's older sister and the big sister Nicole always dreamed of having. She is such an inspirational mother, lawyer, and typewriter connoisseur. She always makes time to give us advice, share funny stories, and enjoy wonderful dinners together at our favorite restaurant (The Carlyle). As the first person in Chris's family to welcome Nicole with open arms, it's only fitting that she stand by our sides as our Matron of Honor! Heather has also been a huge help in our marriage preparation, and we can't thank her enough for her love and support.

Steven Steele

Best Man

Steven has been Chris's brother (in law, that is, legally speaking) for many years, and during a recent summer was even his informal landlord--ask him why they call him 'Stevie Ray'. Now that Chris has moved from basement dweller (thank you, by the way) to law school, and through to the other side, he is pleased to be bringing not just one, but now two new lawyers into the family for Steven to put up with. You're all in for a treat if he keeps with tradition and shares some remarks at the reception. Here's hoping he'll use some of that new stand-up material we've been hearing about!

Christina has been a constant friend in Nicole's life since high school. There they made wonderful memories, like backstage shenanigans during theatre productions, awesome choir medleys (Mamma Mia!), and even a truly chaotic trip to Italy and Greece (Tina's Greek family was not shy on the food)! Nicole and Tina have recently bonded over our love of our many cats and the struggles of grad school. Nicole loved being a bridesmaid in Tina's June 2023 wedding and can't wait for her to be by Nicole's side during our wedding, one year later.

Laura McLaren

As a sophomore at the University of Scranton, Laura was not about to become friends with a freshman. That is, until a very eager Nicole came along. They bonded in the alto section of Boga's notorious performance music choir (where all sorts of shenanigans happened) and even as roommates during Laura's senior year (RIP Nicole's cactus). Even after moving on to grad school in Baltimore, Laura still made time to trek up to Scranton when Nicole was a senior there. One fateful day while Nicole was on a law school tour in D.C., Chris walked up and interrupted Nicole's phone call with Laura to ask her on their very first lunch date--Laura got to hear firsthand the endless excitement from Nicole afterwards about the "most amazing date with the cutest law student!!!" Nicole is so thrilled to have Laura by her side on our wedding day and cannot wait to be by Laura's side as a bridesmaid during her September 2024 wedding!

Joe Bowman

Joe met Chris when they served in the trenches of school together--only Joe, a former Marine, has served where it really counts. Always keen for a late-night discussion about what matters most, Joe single-handedly paved the way for Chris and Nicole's first conversation about a curfew. Joe has been a true, honest, and dependable friend to Chris, and we are grateful to have him in our wedding party.

Jeremy Hall

Chris's most trusted spiritual advisor, Jeremy has been a close friend since the first day of their friendship (currently disputed, Chris thinks it's considerably earlier). Since Jeremy's visit to our area a few years back, the household cat population has doubled, lending credence to his theory of a cat-borne mind-warping parasite. But we can quit whenever we want, we just love cats. Like so much. Through many stages of life, Jeremy has accompanied Chris as a true friend, and we are delighted to welcome him to celebrate with us as we enter the next.

Isaac Schiller

Isaac and Chris met as law school classmates, but their friendship really took off when it came time for extracurriculars. Using his powers of esoteric alchemy, Isaac can turn a library study session into a headbanging fever dream of metalcore music videos. As Chris's go-to for so many things--comedy, ancient philosophy, scary movies, (scary) music, and more--Isaac was an obvious go-to for our wedding party.
