Things To Do in DC

We of course recommend checking out the National Mall but we're also excited to share a few of our other favorite places in the area!
Founding Farmers DC

Founding Farmers DC

1924 Pennsylvania Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20006

By far this is our favorite restaurant in DC. A short walk to the White House. A perfect place to get brunch the next morning! Definitely make a reservation as they are always busy during the weekends!

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

Smithsonian National Zoological Park

3001 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20008

The zoo is free and right in Rock Creek Park, not far from the hotel!

Tonic At Quigley's

Tonic At Quigley's

2036 G Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20036

Another great restaurant nearby! Tonic serves American style comfort food with a twist--from burgers to pizzas to tater tots loaded with toppings. It features local beers and craft cocktails with three bars and two outdoor seating spaces. It is located in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood on the GWU campus.

Rock Creek Park

Rock Creek Park

Washington, DC

The hotel sits on a hill overlooking Rock Creek Park. It has lots of trails for biking, walking, and running. Rock Creek Park is truly a gem in our nation's capital. This 1,754 acre city park was officially authorized in 1890, making it the third national park to be designated by the federal government. It offers visitors the opportunity to escape the bustle of the city and find a peaceful refuge, recreation, fresh air, majestic trees, wild animals, and thousands of years of human history.

The National Mall

The National Mall

Washington, DC

There are so many different ways to see all the monuments--on foot or via bike, segway, electric scooter, paddleboat, or even bus!

For all the days along the way
