We look forward to welcoming our family and friends to the Queen City and introducing them to our new city! We have reserved a space for all our guests to join us at one of the top rooftop bars in Uptown. Stop on by to enjoy the view and kick off the weekend with us. And not that hanging out with us isn't enough reason to stop over, but food and drinks will be provided as well! When you arrive at Merchant & Trade (there is an entrance off of 3rd Street or you can go through the lobby of the Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel), head to the dedicated elevator by Angeline's and let the desk know you are here for the Sprotte/Murtha private event so you can skip any lines that may be there.

We have arranged for transportation for all guests to join us for our rehearsal dinner. For those of you at the Marriott City Center, please use the Grand Bohemian pick up across the street. Queen City Tours

Start your day with a free guided tour of the Queen City by Charlotte's premier tour guide and experience some true Southern hospitality with Danny! We'll have two tours going - one at 8:30am for early risers and one at 10:30am for anyone that wants to sleep in but not miss the fun! Be warned, this will be in high demand - it's first come first serve for the coveted 13 seats aboard an air conditioned mini van! Discover why Joe and Kristen have fallen in love with this amazing city! Please note the 8:30am tour pick up will be outside the Courtyard Marriott. The pickup for the 10:30am tour will be at the Marriott Center City outside the Tryon Street entrance.

Following the ceremony, the Foundation for the Carolinas will open at 3:30pm for any guests that want to explore some art until cocktail hour. Check out the artwork and enjoy some complimentary refreshments. Cocktails will be served on the fourth floor starting at 5pm!
